Poll: Obama opens up four-point lead on Romney nationally

Source: The Hill

President Obama's post-convention bounce has grown in a new Gallup poll released Saturday.

Gallup's daily tracking poll has Obama at 49 percent support among registered voters to GOP candidate Mitt Romney's 45 percent.

The new figures show a 1-point increase for Obama from Friday's results and reflects voter sentiment after the final day of the Democratic National Convention.

Friday's polling put Obama's job approval rating at 52 percent. Gallup said by the middle of next week it will be clear if the bounce is lasting.
Romney received no lasting bounce from the GOP's Tampa convention which concluded Aug. 30, according to Gallup. Forty-six percent of registered voters supported Romney in the tracking poll in the four days following the convention. In the four days preceding the convention, Romney was backed by 46 percent.

1. I think the lead will grow; people like to be on the "winning side".

The DNC has lit a spark and Democrats have stiffen their spines and not letting the righties bully them anymore.

there's a certain segment (sheeple) that will look to a group they want to fit in with/emulate and go with the flow.

but the corporate polls won't let the American public know it. Now Mitt and Kittens will be on Gregory show tomorrow and y'know he won't ask any difficult questions and all will be pre-arranged anyways. They will probably show Mitten's video to boot. Corporate media at its best in propaganda.

....they just can't STAND the idea of saying Obama has over 50%.

That "52%" had to go.

I could care less about how large a margin Romney whips in in this state full of idiots who consistently vote against their best interests. Yup, it's all about those swing states.

7. Even with the heavy assist Romney's receiving from the M$M, he still can't pull it off.

With UE above 8%, Rmoney should be running away with this race. The fact that he isn't says that his unfavorables really are true, and the Obama campaign successfully defined him, before he was able to define himself.

say on the radio that what the polls read a week after the DNC is what they'll read at the end. He says debates wont affect them. He thought it's 3 states that'll decide Florida, Ohio, and Virgina and Romney would have to take all three
