Pompeo repudiates Obama Mideast policy, takes aim at Iran

Source: AP News

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo delivered a scathing rebuke of the Obama administration’s Mideast policies on Thursday as he denounced the former president for “misguided” and “wishful” thinking that diminished America’s role in the region, harmed its longtime friends and emboldened its main foe: Iran.

Since Trump’s election, however, Pompeo said this was all changing.

“In just 24 months, actually less than two years, the United States under President Trump has reasserted its traditional role as a force for good in this region ... We have rebuilt our relationships.”

In the speech entitled “A Force for Good: America’s Reinvigorated Role in the Middle East,” Pompeo extolled the Trump administration’s actions across the region cementing ties with traditional, albeit authoritarian governments ... Trump has boasted of his close relationship with Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, a former general who has been criticized for his human rights record and democratic shortcomings.

Repugs never want to talk about that or the lies that led up to it. Pompeo, you should be focusing on the disastrous move Trump made with Erdogan in Turkey. He is itching to wipe out our Kurdish allies, now with or without our troops being there. What did Trump promise him?

The neo-cons' were dedicated to the propositions they put forth in their document, the PNAC, calling for the invasion of Iraq and then following that with the invasion of Iran. He recently published an article in the Foreign Affairs journal that was only a rehash of Cheney and his gang of neo-cons plans for the domination of the Middle East. Pompeo was chosen for one reason, his hatred of Obama. He endeared himself to Trump when he Obama a Muslim and Communist and for his support of the PNAC neo-cons. He is just another Republican fascist that is determined to take down the government. Trump is just their latest puppet. At their instigation he dropped out of the Iran nuclear agreement and then put additional sanctions on the country solely to use as a pretext for military action when they resist.

part of that PNAC plan involved oil and gas pipelines which are meant to go to the EU. Cheney and his gang hitched their wagons to the Sunnis/Wahabbists, that's what the surge was about, we paid the Sunnis to fight the Shias. These oil and gas pipelines must go through Syria, and Qatar discovered a lot of natural gas. We, the US back these pipelines, but Assad refused to grant access through his country, this is why the talk about ousting Assad, yes he is a butcher, but he didn't gas his own people, that was a Saudi false flag operation.

Enter Putin, Putin wants Gazprom to be the investor/operator of an Iran-Iraq-Syria natural gas pipeline to supply gas to the EU. This is why Putin befriended Assad. This plan pisses Israel off because it gives Iran access to the area. Once we pull out the Turks will wipe out the Kurds and Assad will wipe out any left over opposition and have back control of his country and Gazprom can start building the pipeline. Oh and Russian gas has to go through Ukraine but that's another story.

Oh, so THAT is why IQ45 announced the troops were leaving Syria immediately - we're in the process of "strengthening our role in the region!"

They're ALL BAT-SHIT crazy!

Bibi is pissed. Trump listened to Putin about pulling our troops out and Bibi is irate. Pompeo is just doing a fluff job on Bibi to try to calm him down. Trump once again painted himself into another corner.
