Mueller files status report highlighting cooperation by key witness

Former Trump campaign aide Richard Gates is still cooperating with federal prosecutors on “several ongoing investigations,” according to a status report filed by special counsel Robert Mueller and Gates’ defense attorneys on Tuesday.

The parties are asking a federal judge to again delay Gates’ sentencing, nearly a year after he pleaded guilty in connection with Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

“To date, the status of this matter has not changed substantially since the November report, as defendant Gates continues to cooperate with respect to several ongoing investigations, and accordingly the parties do not believe it is appropriate to commence the sentencing process at this time,” the status report filed Tuesday reads.

The move signals that prosecutors are continuing to question Gates on various matters and are not ready for him to be sentenced.

Rudolf Ghouliani loves to say "Mueller is wrapping up (should, must, really oughta) his investigation" (as if there is only one).

When you hear reports, as we did in November or December, that claim Mueller is writing his report, ... maybe, and maybe there are a number of reports plural.

Who knows, maybe this lowly status report is the "report" we heard about late last year.

This guy most of us never heard of before his indictment - one “Rick Gates” - knows lots and lots, if not “everything”!!!

After Manafort got the pink slip, Gates was adopted by one Tom Barrack: old trump pal, major donor, was head of the inauguration committee ffs!!!

So between what Gates knows from working with both Manafort and Barrack, YEAH BABY, Gates knows some SHIT
