President Donald Trump was off and running early Sunday morning, once again proclaiming his innocence in a Twitter rant about Russia by citing a source that is not special counsel Robert Mueller.
According to Trump: Senator Richard Burr, The Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, just announced that after almost two years, more than two hundred interviews, and thousands of documents, they have found NO COLLUSION BETWEEN TRUMP AND RUSSIA! Is anybody really surprised by this?

(47,390 posts)it is pathetic to watch. His fear is palpable. Until now, I think he has only been afraid of being broke, now he could be broke and in prison. He's never had to suffer the consequences of his corruption before and it is dawning on him that it really could happen.

THE STONE INDICTMENT SHOWS THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN DIRECTED COLLUSION
https://themoscowproject.org/dispatch/the-stone-indictment-shows-the-trump-campaign-directed-collusion/
It has always been clear that Trump ran the Trump campaignhe was completely in control of his campaign team. The Stone indictment is the latest in a long string of indictments linked to Trump campaign associates, but it is the first to show such a clear top-down direction of collusive activity.

(11,885 posts)...Would he say that to Mueller under oath, absolutely not. That's why he's so scared to be answering anything under oath, he's a corrupt criminal connected with the Russian mob, and putin . Only a guilty person is so desperate to project the opposite of the truth, he's guilty. Just think of how many things he's claimed that was the opposite of the truth. A hint,, almost everything.

Schiff, D-Calif., charged late last year that Trump's financial records with Deutsche Bank and Russia might reveal a "form of compromise" that "needs to be exposed." Schiff has long maintained that there had to be some reason that the German banking giant, which has what he called a "history of laundering Russian money," was willing to work with the Trump Organization

(5,377 posts)a co-worker who got the job with a forged resume, and spends all day on non-productive busy work, just to look busy and hide the fact he has no idea what the job really entails, and spends every opportunity big noting himself, while, living in fear his fake resume will not stand up to close scrutiny.
Such is Trump.
He fills his days with trivial stuff to avoid the hard bits of the job. The constant stream of 'It was not me, I did not do it!' tweets are getting tedious and sounding more desperate as time goes by. Mueller will never reply with 'Yeah, I believe you bro!'.
Let's be honest. Twitter rants, throwing insults around, watching TV, telling everyone how important you are, eating junk food - anyone can do that!
Identifying important aspects of the job, a job that only a President can do, and getting to grips with that, is beyond Trump.
Every organisation has it's 'dead wood', the seat warmers, and they are often tolerated out of sympathy or convenience - but the most important job in the world can't be allowed to be filled by someone incompetent.
Trump needs to go, and the rot in the political system that led to him landing the top job, needs to be surgically exorcised from the American system of government.
