Trump says no Republican health-care plan until after 2020 elections

Source: MarketWatch

President Donald Trump indicated Monday night that a new Republican health-care plan that he has boasted about in recent days won’t be voted on until after the 2020 elections.

In a series of tweets, Trump claimed the GOP plan — which does not yet exist — “will be far less expensive & much more usable than ObamaCare,” and that a vote would be held “right after the Election when Republicans hold the Senate & win back the House.”

20 million Americans will lose their healthcare for at least 2 years because the GOP have no solution (and have had nothing remotely realistic in recent history).

1 in 1,000 Americans without healthcare die each year. So by defeating Obamacare in court, Trump would be killing roughly of 40,000 Americans over those 2 years.

Nothing to see here .....

Let's get KellyAnne and Sarah Sanders back on the podium to lie about important things like Joe Biden hugging people.

1. Biggly announcement by Trump that he's not going to make health care an issue until after Nov 2020
2. Keep the lawsuits against the ACA going all the way to the SC
3. The ACA gets thrown in the dumpster and pre-existing conditions will not be covered by independent insurance companies
4. Trump and Republicans never discuss health care again

why not vote soon so that you can blame the Dems when it fails? Won't the voters wish to punish any Dems who vote against such a wonderful (non-existent) plan?

Apr 2019

And it will NEVER "exist". Their whole anti-"Obamacare" shtick was just that. Fake and merely used as an anti-Obama mid-term election stunt, bolstered by their Koch-funded astrotruf teabaggers, and helping to throw a bone to the insurance lobby. There was no intention for them to actually attempt to address the problem.

They know healthcare is their 3rd rail. They made him own that for all of the coverage they've afforded him on Russia. Plus, the clearances are about to go boom, and he thinks he can buy off the gop to save him.

It makes sense to them, since they never would have done healthcare, so it's not a loss to push it down the road. His base believes their lies:that much is certain. So gop candidates can make bogus, empty sweeping statements and sail through 2020.

Trump is correct...there will be no new health care plan until after the 2020 Elections. It will be called 'Medicare for All' and will be presented by the Dems TO the Republicans, those left in Congress after the swamp is finally drained.

25. Trumpanzee Doctrine
Tue Apr 2, 2019, 04:55 PM
Apr 2019

The Trump Doctrine can be summed up in three words....

1. Undo everything Obama did. (e.g. ACA, DACA)
2. Outdo everything Obama did. (e.g. bigger inaugural crowd size "period&quot
3. Redo some of what Obama did. (e.g. drone strikes and kids in cages)

It appears that Individual One, (DJT) has outdone Obama in one new way...
His name came up in the New Zealand murderer's manifesto, albeit not in a totally complimentary way..."“Were you/are you a supporter of Donald Trump?” by saying, “As a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose? Sure. As a policy maker and leader? Dear God no.”

Peace, Shalom, Salaam, K’é.

This is a colossal misstep for Trump and exactly what the GOP didn't want to happen. Trump has essentially assured that the 2020 Presidential Race will be centered around healthcare. That is a winning issue for Democrats, as seen in 2018. It is the last thing that anyone in the GOP running for a congressional seat wanted to be talking about over the next year and a half.
