David and Louise Turpin have each been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison after they pleaded guilty to holding captive and torturing their children for years in their California home.

The parents each spoke before the sentencing.

"I'm sorry for everything I've done to hurt my children," Louise Turpin said, adding she believes God has a special plan for each of them. "I love them more than they could ever imagine."

David Turpin broke down in tears as he tried to address the court. His attorney read his statement, in which the father expressed hope for his children's success and said he hopes they remain close because their mother and father will not be with them.

7. A panel of Psychiatrists should interview and/or study what type or kind of teaching

and upbringing the parents under went in their formative years to find out why they turned into such parental f*ckups, so that those methods are not replicated in any teaching system resulting in what is really a tragedy for the couples children.

I heard the recording of the 29 year older talking to 911 saying she never went to school beyond the 1st grade, and had not had a bath in a year or so. It was sad to hear her like that. She seems so innocent and naive from being cloistered, caring people need to keep an eye on her to prevent a predator from swooping in to try and take advantage of her innocence.
