White House denies Cummings' request for Stephen Miller to testify on immigration: reports

The White House is denying a request from House Committee on Oversight and Reform for senior adviser Stephen Miller to testify before the panel, according to reports.

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), the committee’s chairman, reportedly received a letter from the White House late Wednesday refusing his request for Miller to appear before the panel to testify on the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

“We are pleased that the Committee is interested in obtaining information regarding border security and much needed improvements to our immigration system,” White House Counsel Pat Cipollone wrote in the letter, which was obtained by The Washington Post and reported by other news outlets.

Cipollone added that he could make “cabinet secretaries and other agency leaders” available to discuss the issue.

is like his boss. A giant COWARD. With every move this WH makes, they prove their guilt. Honest people defend their positions. They do NOT run and hide. We all know Miller is a cowardly little geek. Perfect fit for this WH.

6. Don't waste time, subpoena with 24 hrs to respond,

if Miller still refuses, vote immediately on Contempt of Congress citation. Send the Sgt At Arms to fetch Miller and toss him in jail in solitary confinement for his own protection.
