Trump: Russia investigations an attempted 'coup'

President Donald Trump on Thursday called the FBI probe into his 2016 campaign and subsequent investigations into Russian election meddling "an attempted overthrow" of his administration.

"This was a coup," Trump told host Sean Hannity on Fox News' "Hannity" in his first interview since the Mueller report's release. "This was an attempted overthrow of the United States government."

Trump insisted that special counsel Robert Mueller's team investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election had gone "hog wild to find something about the administration which obviously wasn't there."

Trump repeatedly said the 448-page Mueller report, a redacted version of which was released last week, proved no collusion and obstruction. He called the special counsel's investigation a "one-sided witch-hunt" by "angry Democrats" who are "very serious Trump haters."

This is important news. Trump saying that an investigation by an ex head of the FBI is a "one sided witch hunt" and, "attempted overthrow of his administration" is significant. His language in my opinion, proves he is nuts. It couldn't get any clearer. His language has gone over "the line." We all have been looking for "proof." There it is.

The leader of this investigation, Mueller, was/is one of the most respected and admired investigators in the world. His team was extremely experienced in this area of investigation..

Here is the proof for all to see...It is that simple. He has lost it. That language, live on network TV in an interview show, proves it.

Saying that there was an "attempted coup" by the FBI, steps over that line. The FBI is not in the business of carrying out an "attempted coup."

..."EVERYONE" includes moderates, republicans, left wing, right wing, news media, non news media, democrats, men, women, teenagers, workers, bosses, readers of all kind of literature, readers of just comic books... As was said in the play, "The King and I"...etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

The FBI is not in the business of ..."attempted coup." Everyone knows that. Trump's statement is out there for all to see and consider. He made it on live TV. This proves something people have been thinking about for a while. The show is now in its last act.

10. The MSM started horse racing 2020 elections with SOTU coverage

If you go back and look at CNN's list of things Trump covered in the state of the union address, you can't tell whether they are favorable to Trump. The explanations under each item in the list read like Trump is lying, crazy, hateful, etc. I remember one of the items, "Women are Powerful". He had nothing but disdain for the women dressed to commemorate the suffragettes. The list read so if Trump read the list items in bold, he would not get too offended. Anyone reading the explanations of each item would see what a hate mongering ass he was. MSNBC, NBC, CBS and ABC websites had similar lists which were also kind to him, but the CNN one was particularly kind.

I am sick of even PBS airing programs with topics listed as 'Both sides of the abortion debate'. There is no debate. There is the constitution, settled law, those out to change it for solely religious reasons regardless of the constitutionality, but no FREAKING DEBATE! The Koch funded content packed into PBS and NPR programming drives me crazy, also. Why is Susan Page everywhere on TV and NPR? She's a conservative shill. Why on Diane Rehm's show for decades including 2 conservative guest panelists for every moderate or liberal? MSNBC does the same thing all day long sometimes.

Why wasn't Bill Barr called out for being Baghdad Bill until after he was confirmed? What the hell kind of journalism is that?

It is the same coverage that Trump received in 2016 - false equivalences throughout. He was same evil during the campaign as he is after, but Hillary and Bernie couldn't get any positive airtime. Each cable network was covering its awaiting Trump's exiting buildings and planes for half days instead of his lying hate mongering, and corrupt/failed business records while their screen crawls updated viewers with breaking news about the FBI opening and reopening Hillary's email investigations (which obviously had no wrongdoing to report except that some of her email was going through a personal server). Even before the conventions I was freaking out that the MSM was going to set up a Trump win to create post election white house reality TV coverage. If that was the worse that was going to happen, I could take it - but it is much worse.

My head keeps exploding every time I lower expectations. I can't lower them enough.

...Trump has used language that will unify the country against him. Yes, 20 percent will still be on his side. But this language could really unify the rest of us against Trump. The President of the United States is ..not Rush Limbaugh

..Using that kind of language against the FBI, which is a highly respected agency, goes beyond reason. It seems odd. One very stupid and uncalled for statement on a TV show could possibly lead to Trump leaving his job. But, we must understand the one fact: Trump makes statements all the time that seem odd. Everyone is used to it, and so is Mr. Trump.

...This one steps over the line of sanity. We know it. The republicans know it. Everyone knows it.

campaign co chair and limbaugh would not support mccain until minutes after the announcement that palin would be vp. palin had been courted by russian oil and gas interests. in 2009 the east anglia emails got hacked on a thursday by russians, a few days later wikileaks got them and then monday limbaugh stated a week of yelling that the out-of-context emails were proof that global warming was a hoax in time to derail obama at copenhagen the next week - 'climategate'. putin saved billions in oil/fossil revenue. in 2011 limbaugh led the tea bag revolt for defaulting on the debt - how many USS billionaires woiuld like that?

if trump 'works' for putin, who does his most important ally and excuser in chief work for?

limbaugh started the 'deep sate' right after inauguration - the 'deep state' coup with obama and clinton leading it with soros, etc. all the prominent names who've been kicked out of the fbi /jd were named regularly by limbaugh and then his parrots. the story was well developed then with a lot of relevant names and it suggests the russians may have helped with that too.

it so happens limbaugh and trump go way back and both live in palm beach

the good news is that 'hannity', who was named 5 times in the mueller report, may have been the redacted name in the mueller report glossary between graff and hawker. considering the mueller interest in stone, credico, and corsi - all talk radio pros along with hannity, it suggests they may be finally making a connection with talk radio.

it so happens the trump team studied "1000s of hours" talk radio in 2014, the same year a russian troll said he got "a list of topics to write about"
