TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — The Latest on tensions between the U.S. and Iran and in the Persian Gulf (all times local):

U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton says Iran should not “mistake U.S. prudence and discretion for weakness.”

Speaking alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem Sunday, Bolton says no one has granted Iran a “hunting license in the Middle East.”

The comments come days after President Donald Trump announced he called off military strikes on Iran after learning approximately 150 Iranians would be killed, saying it would’ve been out of proportion to the shooting down of an unmanned American surveillance drone by Iran.

1. Trump cut Bolton this morning, saying,"

Bolton is hawkish, but he is just one on my team. I made the decisions!”

Bolton gets out in front he will be gone. No one trusts him.

2. Of the two, I actually hate Bolton more

He never met a war that he didn't like, except when it came time for him to fight in it.

3. I can not disagree!

Bolton is vicious. He and Netanyahu have wanted the US to fight Iran as long as I can remember.

I despise Bibi, to!

4. Bolton must be beside himself

He's a skilled bureaucratic infighter, but he's no match for president narcissist.

5. Bolton is among a long line of "expert advisors" who thought that they could make a stupid President

do what they wanted him to do. Goes all the way back to Reagan and Bush. But this time, they mis-calculated Trump's ego and Russia's influence.
