President Donald Trump thanked himself Saturday in a tweet in the wake of a stock market rally — then tagged a fake Russian Twitter account.

“Stock Market is on track to have the best June in over 50 years! Thank you Mr. President!” Trump tweeted, adding the tag: @WallStreetJour.


That might look like the Twitter link for The Wall Street Journal — but the real one for the newspaper is @WSJ. The one Trump tagged is a Russian account (with tweets in Russian) made to appear to be the American newspaper. It’s also apparently defunct. It issued the last of its 66 tweets in 2013, Bloomberg reported.

2. More propaganda from comrade trump

When they gave the wealthiest 1% huge tax cuts , and took almost two trillion out of Medicaid , Medicare , and Social Security. Has caused tariffs and billions in losses for the farmers and the American people with higher prices, higher oil prices and the threats of another war for profits, and all indications showing lower manufacturing starts, a under 2 % treasury rate, and no action by the fed rate which will really hurt when trumps recession hits, and it'll cause it to be much worse than the Bush recession. When it starts to tank he'll blame anyone else , especially the fed chairman , and Democrats, but its all his policies that will hurt us . The deficit has gone sky high under trump , when he claimed he and only he could fix it, but he lied , he's doing the opposite . He always says the opposite of the truth to make himself look good. When he starts a war it'll really be bad then. Unless he's threatening Iran to manipulate the stock market which would not surprise me.
