FBI ranks 'black identity extremists' bigger threats than Al Qaeda, white supremacists: leaked docs

Leaked FBI documents indicate "black identity extremists" and animal rights activists are among the agency's top counterterrorism priorities under President Donald Trump.

The FBI's priority list documents, obtained by The Young Turks Thursday, lay out the Bureau's 2018 fiscal year focal points in counterterrorism, cyber crime and counterintelligence.

An internal FBI report from August 2017 was widely criticized for using the BIE label, which many called racist. But the Consolidated Strategy Guide documents leaked this week show the FBI kept the term and made BIEs one of its top counterterrorism priorities.

Under the Trump administration, they're considered a bigger threat than terror groups such as Al Qaeda.

"Animal rights/environmental extremists" and "anti-authority extremists" were also deemed top existential threats.

It's a lot, you'll recall, like some of the language in Dubya's Patriot Act - a flagrant violation of the Bill of Rights that, moreover, seemed deliberately written to give any U.S. president with despotic leanings wide latitude as to who to use it against.

I was working a swing shift on election night, and on my lunch break when Cheeto Mussolini was crowned. As I left the break room, I muttered, "Well, we're all f$#@ed now," to which a (Latinx?) co-worker replied, "You can blame Black Lives Matter for that."

I didn't have time to ask her how the HELL she came to that conclusion; I just gawped at her dumbfounded for a moment before going back to work. Maybe hubby's a cop. Maybe she thought if she cheered quietly from the back the leopards wouldn't eat HER face. Haven't seen her in a while; maybe a karma ran over her dogma.

In 1964, JFK was murdered in 1963, Hoover sent that letter suggesting MLK kill himself. But the supposed tapes have never been substantiated as what Hoover claims they were. They could have been faked, Hoover, a RepubliCON, was not beyond faking evidence on a man he hated.

And many respected scholars question the supposed Bobby / John Kennedy order, to wiretap MLK, Garrow put in his book. Garrow seems to have his own hatred of MLK.

That questionable belief that the Kennedy's (both working in concert) ordered the wiretapping of MLK is a right wing talking point that is more about trying to blame Dems for RepubliCON evils.

Hoover, a long standing RepubliCON, instigated the wiretapping of MLK and did nothing to stop organized crime from murdering him.

In the following months, Hoover deployed agents to find subversive material on King, and Robert Kennedy authorized wiretaps on King’s home and Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) offices in October 1963.
