Trump defends sharing Clinton-Epstein conspiracy theory
Source: Politico
President Donald Trump on Tuesday defended his decision to share a tweet suggesting Bill and Hillary Clinton were involved in financier Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide, and stoked speculation about the former president’s relationship with the deceased convicted sex offender. “The retweet — which is what it was, just a retweet — was from somebody that’s a very respected conservative pundit, so I think that was fine,” Trump told reporters, referring to a conspiratorial message by comedian and commentator Terrence K. Williams he re-posted Saturday. The president has been criticized in recent days for promulgating the unfounded theory that the Clintons had a hand in Epstein’s death. Trump said Tuesday he had “no idea” whether the couple played a role in the high-profile prisoner’s demise and accused Bill Clinton of lying about the extent of his air travel on Epstein’s planes. “I know he was on his plane 27 times, and he said he was on the plane four times,” Trump said. “But when they checked the plane logs, Bill Clinton — who was a very good friend of Epstein — he was on the plane about 27 or 28 times. So why did he say four times?” Read more: https://www.politico.com/story/2019/08/13/trump-clinton-epstein-conspiracy-theory-1460646

3. He said "four trips" Mr. President.
Fox took the 4 trips to international conferences in several countries across 2 continents and broke them into separate legs to come up with their number.
It's a textbook example of "alternate facts". |

12. Fox News got the passenger lists after filing FOIA requests in 2015-2016,
digging for dirt to use against Hillary in 2016, and that's the best they could do to spin the information they found.
Fox called the trips (taken in connection to Clinton Foundation conferences in 2002-2003) "junkets" to make them sound nefarious and sinister. Oh, and there were "Hollywood elites on board" for one of the 4 trips. They are all involved in AIDS outreach and activism and were traveling to Africa with the former president to attend an AIDS prevention conference that the Clinton Foundation was sponsoring. ![]() |

Maleria is cuddled up to Epstein. tRump and Maxwell are in the photo, too. I read that Epstein introduced tRump to wife #3. Maybe she was pushing him to marry her, and he dumped her off onto tRump?

Candy’s dandy. Liquor is quicker. Dope renders them defenseless.
FTR: Bill Cosby had a home in Epstein’s neighborhood. His name also was in Epstein’s little black book. Small world for evil. |

6. good gawd!! Trump is planting an ugly seed, asking if Bill Clinton went to the Island.....
damn. damn
.........“The question you have to ask is, did Bill Clinton go to the island? Because Epstein had an island. That was not a good place, as I understand it, and I was never there,” Trump said Tuesday. “So you have to ask, did Bill Clinton go to the island? That’s the question. If you find that out, you’re going to know a lot.” “President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York,” Clinton spokesman Angel Ureña said last month. "He’s not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade, and has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico, or his residence in Florida.” Ureña also hit back against Trump's effort to link the Clintons to Epstein's suicide, tweeting on Saturday: "Ridiculous, and of course not true — and Donald Trump knows it. Has he triggered the 25th Amendment yet?" |

have a much better motive (and opportunity) than the Clintons for "suiciding" Epstein.

14. Trump is not just stupid, much lower than stupid. ??
Doubling down on the Clinton attack is hard to believe. This will convince some people to finally turn against
Trump, because the first time might have been a "mistake" but this time is a calculated attack. ..This totally irresponsible and an impeachable offense. Of course, Trump doesn't have the guts to admit the first time, "was a mistake" so he doubles down as always. ..Attacking Clinton when there is strong evidence of Trump being a friend of Epstein, shines the light on Trump, not Clinton. Trump does not have the intelligence or sanity to see that. ..Either way, Trump has made an error that defines his status as an out of control individual who must be removed from office as soon as possible |

21. Trump is making a bigly mistake. Ask Barr why his dad hired Epstein.
The Ties That Bind Jeffrey Epstein, William Barr & Donald Trump
Todd Neikirk Hill Reporter, May 19, 2019 During Attorney General, William Barr’s confirmation hearing, he was mostly peppered with questions about how he would handle the Mueller Report. Senator Ben Sasse’s (R-NE) questioning, however, diverged from the pack. Sasse asked Barr about the lenient sentence given out to billionaire pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. The future Attorney General told Sasse that he would look into the matter. This, however, was not the first connection between Barr and his family and the disgraced pedophile. In 1973, Barr’s father Donald, the headmaster at Manhattan’s Dalton School, hired Epstein as a calculus and physics teacher. While hiring Epstein, a noted mathematics genius, was not strange on its face, the hire was unusual for a number of reasons. Epstein had not earned a college degree as he dropped out of New York’s prestigious Cooper Union. The other odd circumstance was that the new teacher was only 20 years of age. Apparently, the hire was a successful one. The New Yorker wrote in a 2003 profile on Epstein, “he was something of a Robin Williams–in–Dead Poets Society type of figure, wowing his high-school classes with passionate mathematical riffs.” Epstein’s mathematical skills caught the eye of Bear Stearns’ chairman, Alan “Ace” Greenberg, whose son attended the Dalton School. Greenberg hired Epstein as an options trader and the former teacher was able to amass a fortune. Continues.... https://hillreporter.com/the-ties-that-bind-jeffrey-epstein-william-barr-donald-trump-34107 ——————- Barr must’ve seen something in that young man, otherwise there’s no logical rationale for the hire. |
