Mother Jones to release full video today ("around mid-afternoon.")

Source: Politico

Mother Jones, which obtained video of Mitt Romney's remarks about the "47 percent" at a Boca Raton fundraiser, plans to release the full video later today, the magazine's co-editor Clara Jeffrey told POLITICO.

"We have the whole tape, which we're releasing later today," Jeffrey said. She said they would aim to release the tape "around mid-afternoon."

The Romney campaign has been in crisis mode since Mother Jones posted a brief clip from the video, which shows the candidate telling donors that he can’t count on the support of “47 percent”. At a press conference on Monday night, Romney had said he hoped the entire video would be made public so that voters could get the full context by hearing all of the question posed to him and his complete answer.

I don't know how anymore video can be more damaging than what Romney already said, but would like to see more if so.

the message was clear because he has basically said the same thing before, several times.

It's enough that he blew off almost half of the American people, but that he also said, "They think they are entitled to healthcare, food, housing..." Yes, you heartless S.O.B. people ARE entitled to those things as basic human needs. Rmoney literally makes me ill.

I would love that. I'm sure whatever is in there is still usable though.

Edited to add: That tape also drives home how foreign and uncomfortable he is in front of people whom he doesn't see as peers. In front of the general public, he's like a robot with a stick up his ass.

What kind of world is it where a rich guy running for President can't get any privacy talking to fellow rich guys at a closed fundraising event? You kids with your hand-held devices are wrecking everything.

Nor is it a matter of "inelegance" of expression. The meaning came through loud and clear.

Let's have it then. Personally, I'd prefer a slow striptease, as we see ever more naughty glimpses of Mitt's true self. But whatever.

Mitt does the full Monty. It's open kimono time. Show us all what you're made of, Mitt.
