Exclusive: U.S. military to send significantly more troops to Saudi Arabia - sources
1 MIN READ

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States is planning to send a large number of additional forces to Saudi Arabia following the Sept. 14 attack on its oil facilities, which Washington and Riyadh have blamed on Iran, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on Friday.

The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request to comment. The sources did not specify exactly how many troops would be deployed but said it was expected to be in the thousands.

We should consider, and prepare for, Trump "wagging-the-dog" by starting a major war with Iraq.

And the timing of this after attacks on oil infrastructure only validates the outrage the hardliners have felt for nearly 3 decades.

Comcast Media and the real big one is Sinclair Broadcasting Corp and their near saturation of the Media markets.

The one thing that really P O's me is,people with their faces in their friggin phones and getting info from Facebook or twitter.

And with the announcement of the ISIS prison break in the last few minutes, golly Gee whiz Leningrad Lindsey, just what the hell could possibly go wrong.

I'm currently in college, having earned my blood money for school via the military. It kills me to see these young folks doing exactly what you cite. I'm not sure many of them even read actual print news sites. Sure it was in vogue to poop on the major players one time (see Chomsky) but even he wasn't calling for throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Chomsky even said in a recent interview as much. Sure NYT Et al. have problems but they do a decent job more than 50% of the time. But there is a noticeable drift from reading actual news. And not even from the extremes either, like Truthout etc.

What I notice mainly is large amounts of 'virtue signaling' among my peers. But most of their 'outrage' is informed via social media and it rarely touches on actual issues that impact people's lives both in the US and abroad. This is where I become conspiratorial. As I firmly believe the DNC and GOP work to achieve such an effect.

You no doubt are spot on about the consolidation & corporatization of media. Which has given way to the dangerous 'citizen journalists.' Not saying all are garbage, but most are. And it is theses fools people are getting their 'news' from.

oh, and then this happened:

Hope like hell, the VA does not screw you over with your Educational Pay outs.

And yes, with the Breitbart's and Drudge's out there,as well as others who have put a Hook in their Blog Sites to catch the low info persons, and peddle Conspiracy and out right lies, then this is moved onto legit News Sites via Social Media inter face.

He ranted about ending the wars and bringing the troops home. That was one of the spurious reasons he made up to justify the action of betraying the Kurds, also. Next day...this.

I wonder how much cognitive dissonance the little MAGAt brains can take? I know, I am being condescending, but actions do speak louder than words.

There has to be at least a moment of, "Huh?"

Trump, August 2015: I make $40 million, $50 million from Saudi Arabia. I like them very much.

As I have pointed out before, he fondled their orb. Now he is "special".

I only hope the military slow walks this spring board to war with Iran.

I guess Trump can always tell the families of dead soldiers that at least Saudi Arabia paid us.
