Epstein lawyer disappointed women won't give up lawsuits

NEW YORK (AP) — A lawyer for Jeffrey Epstein's estate said Wednesday he is disappointed that women who say the financier sexually attacked them aren't suspending lawsuits to join a special compensation fund, but an attorney for one woman says lawsuits are the better route, at least for now.

Attorney Bennet Moskowitz told a Manhattan judge that the women are moving “full steam ahead with their litigation” a month after plans were announced for the fund to compensate women who forgo lawsuits.

Moskowitz said he was “disappointed, as of now, no one has said: ‘Yeah, I’ll give it a shot.'”

The plaintiffs instead had “made it clear to us they're not yet sold on the program," he said.

Anybody but me think that Epstein may have had a Kenneth Lay death (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenneth_Lay#Death).

A private funeral for about 200 people was held in Aspen four days after his death. His body was cremated and his ashes were buried in an undisclosed location in the mountains.[31][32] A memorial service was held a week after his death at the First United Methodist Church in Houston. It was attended by over 1,000 guests including George H. W. Bush and James Baker.[33]

On October 17, 2006, the conviction was overturned due to abatement ab initio, a legal doctrine which says the death of a defendant during an appeal results in a vacated judgment.[34][35] The government opposed Lay's attorneys' motions of appeal and the United States Department of Justice issued a statement saying it remained committed to pursuing all available legal remedies for victims of the fraud.[36][37]

With the mafia Barr taking control of Epstein's death investigation, I'm betting drump and dershowitz and epstein will be gamboling on a beach together soon.

The Epstein estate managers set up a fund to compensate victims who......did Not file suit.

If you keep quiet and don't join in a law suit, you get money. Weirdly inappropriate.

And where are all the videos from the safe in Epstein's mansion that the FBI found? And where are the flight logs from the Lolita Express?
