(14,624 posts)Putin "led Trump* to believe Ukraine was interfering."
I firmly believe that Trump* knows full well, and has from the beginning, that the Ukraine story is complete bullshit. He wasn't misled by Putin. Shitler does whatever Putin tells him to do.

(1,980 posts)I'm tired of reading reports which mention "Trump Believes......" regarding this because he "believes" no such thing. He knows what Russia did and why they did it; Putin knows he got caught and the sanctions aren't getting dropped and this is their "desperation" nonsense.

(5,268 posts)Trump adopted the Ukraine lie since it conveniently takes focus off of the Trump/Russia collusion. He doesn't really believe it any more than he believed his previous lies that Russia didn't interfere and that he and his campaign had no contacts with Russians.
