Germans think Trump is more dangerous to world peace than Kim Jong Un and Putin: survey

A new YouGov survey found Germans consider President Trump more dangerous to world peace than North Korean Chairman Kim Jong Un or Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the German broadcaster DW.

Asked to rank the greatest threat to world peace between Trump, Kim, Putin, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Chinese President Xi Jinping, 41 percent named Trump, compared to Kim at 17 percent, Khamenei and Putin at 8 percent and Xi at 7 percent.

Pollsters surveyed 2,000 Germans for the poll between Dec. 16 and 18.

The results were similar to a YouGov poll published in July 2018, although the earlier survey did not include Xi or Khamenei as options.

5. Actually, it's their cadre of staff and cabinet that's the real danger......

not so much the individual, but only if we discount nuclear weapons. Any nation with nukes presents a serious danger, with NK, Pakistan and Russia topping my list.

The tRump administration probably should top that list simply because of the massive influence any American action/inaction can have world-wide, and not because of tRump himself.

I think the press gives Trump far too much credit for the mischief the well-established and massive GOP machine has been waiting for years to unleash on the world. He is just their out-of-control mouthpiece.

Purely as an individual threat, I feel Putin is a far greater threat due to his more absolute power in Russia over state actions.

because if anyone knows what roiling shit looks like, it will be the Germans and the Japanese... they both know how the last war went when this nation finally go "woke" the fuck up.

Of course our problem now is, that we have to wake the fuck up because the monkey Germany got off its back has leapt upon ours, and as always, when looking back on history, we will be able to see the "enablers" who were our friends, family, associates, officials, politicians, and supposed allies ... could make a great movie, if we survive the current reality.

As it stands, in these times, whether we save this democratic republic from the ravages of greed, avarice, and just plain traitorous behavior is up to anyone's guessing ... I'm betting on democracy, the federation of that which is our nation, and people just being plain freaking tired of the stupid. Win or lose, I choose.
