13. Well...how can ANY of us be surprised by this?
Susan Collins beats her chest with concern, and then does the wrong thing. It's a pattern, folks.
You know why she does it? Name recognition. It gets her name in the national news. Great for getting reelected. Not sure who the show business person was who said that any publicity is good publicity, but I think that's the way Collins rolls. |

17. One thing we can all be sure of
The massive flow of money to her was NOT in return for her active legislative support of the Macadamia Nut Growers Association or the producers of Kona Coffee.
About the only thing we can be sure of is that the big wad of money flowing to Collins from Hawaii did not originate in Hawaii. |

23. Basically, she is doing it because she is petty.
She made some rude comments about Schumer campaigning against her a couple of weeks ago and said she was going for acquittal because of that.
So, because she is petty, she is doing this. I was sick of her BS and sick of all of the accolades she has always gotten as some mythical "moderate" Republican already. Maybe now, more people will wake up and see just how petty she is; that she would just throw the Constitution away over a petty grievance. |
