Sensing an opening, Mitt Romney focuses attacks on Obama’s foreign policy

Source: Wash. Post

PUEBLO, Colorado— Mitt Romney on Monday criticized President Obama’s comments in a recent interview where he described the eruption of violence in the Middle East as “bumps in the road,” saying that Obama has diminished America’s standing in the world and failed to lead.

“The president characterized as bumps in the road — the developments of the Middle East, we just had an ambassador assassinated. Egypt has elected a Muslim Brotherhood or person as president. Iran is on the cusp of having nuclear capability,” Romney said in an interview with NBC News. “We have tumult in Syria and also Pakistan, and I don’t consider these bumps in the road. I think this is a time for American leadership domestically; the president’s policies are a continuation of the past four years. We can’t afford four more years like the last four years.”

Romney’s comments came amid a change in course for his campaign; the Republican presidential candidate has said he will campaign more, fund raise less and draw clearer distinctions between his policy positions and the president’s ahead of next month’s debates.

At a rally here, a state where Romney trails by five points in the most recent poll, Romney reiterated his new line of attack on Obama’s foreign policy record, which has drawn increased scrutiny since the death of U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans during an attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi this month.

our government, and that he wants us to be more responsible for ourselves? Now he's saying he wants other Countries to be dependent upon our government, and he wants to tell them what to do. He's now criticizing President Obama for not being a leader to these other Countries.
What the hell is wrong with Romney's thought process? The turmoil over in the Middle East has been there for many many years, and in my opinion it's time they fix their own problems, with their own money.

Mitt Please Shut Up Before Americans Get Killed because of your dumbass.

See what the world thinks about America under Obama, and then compare the numbers to under Bush.

Mitt, please go back to lying/babbling about American stuff, like jobs, and the economy, and leave foreign policy out of it.

International Polling shows the election of Mitt would lower the esteem of the U.S. to levels of contempt not seen since Richard Cheney.. Obama is the only thing saving the US from total contempt outside the shores of the US.. Many in the US do not know what the Neo Con's stand for. But , in the rest of the world they surely do and despise their influence..

From the 47% video

Romney: “…by the way, if something of that nature (referring to the 1979 Iran hostage crises) presents itself, I will work to find a way to take advantage of the opportunity.”

He's basically playing politics with the unfortunate death of our diplomat and service members as he said he would in the 47% video.
