(31,964 posts)The Wisconsin Supreme Court quickly ruled 4-2 along party lines Monday afternoon to block Democratic Gov. Tony Evers executive order to postpone Tuesdays election until June amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The majority conservative court rejected Evers argument that it was his constitutional duty to provide safety for Wisconsinites and thus delay in-person voting at polling places across the state.
