This year has been just surreal. That said, this may be another failure to care for infracture in the state of my birth, mostly governed by R’s since 1990.

Godmmat!

If you had a Republican Governor, Trump would be superseding the CV-19 response to help out. But your Governor is a female Democrat, so no help for you. This is the federal political calculus at work.

Despite order by Gov for no non-essential visits to industrial families, that asshat is gonna make an appearance at a Ford plant, no mask required.

I hate him...

The Saginaw River is fed by about 4 or so rivers in that area, including the Tittabawasee.

All of these rivers will be quite high.

Note the predicted level has increased by almost 10-ft. in two days and is now approx. 4-ft. above previous record high. News reports showed many downtown Midland streets flooded this afternoon even prior to either dam failure.

Best wished to all those affected. It's going to be tough for evacuees having to leave home to a shelter with potential coronavirus worries on top of not knowing if they will have a safe home to return to.

A little west of Midland, she said she’s good flood wise.

Yes most of rural Michigan is conservative, not all are trumpers. I live further north more rural...the tide is turning here...you can discuss politics without it getting to a shooting.
He is not well liked among them. Of course there are trumpers but they are being kinda quiet. MAGA hats in stores have lotsa dust on them.
