'Crushing experience' awaits Ghislaine Maxwell at troubled jail
Source: Reuters
Ghislaine Maxwell was detained on Monday in a troubled U.S. jail in Brooklyn where she will undergo humiliating searches and be denied nearly all possessions, a far cry from the luxury estate where she was arrested as an accused accomplice of Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell, 58, arrived at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn on Monday and is expected to appear in a Manhattan courtroom on Friday when a judge will consider a government request to detain her without bail. “You go from living a life like Maxwell to all of a sudden being in a situation where you’re being strip-searched and having people look into your body cavities,” said Cameron Lindsay, a former warden at the MDC. “That is a crushing experience.” Read more: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-people-ghislaine-maxwell-prison/crushing-experience-awaits-ghislaine-maxwell-at-troubled-jail-idUSKBN2472LN I almost have a sense of pity for her. The hyoid bone is apparently very painful when crushed.

10. If She Was Smart She Should Have 'Made A Video' Of All The Pertinent Info & Give It So Someone.....
with instructions to release it to the press if she winds up dead. I'm saying 'videoed' because just a written account could be called fake. A video of her talking into a camera and providing a confession of all of her and Epstein's crimes along with a long list of names of clients is hard to discredit.
If she did that - she could use it as an insurance policy to protect herself. She's had enough time between Epstein being caught and winding up dead (by suicide or murder) to be able to pull this off. She's had to realize that it would only be a matter of time that she would be caught and be at risk. |

In this age of deep-fakes, a video is not to be believed without additional confirmation that it's accurate.

30. I thouht of this too but then
if she was thinking clearly she would not have been sitting in a compoun in NH. She should have been in Belize or Brazil or somewhere that it's hard to extradite from. So I'm afraid her secrets will die with her when they visit her cell. BTW this will not be suicide this time, instead it will be another inmate who will have a history of being abused so it sounds plausible. Then later on after the news has moved on that inmate will be transferred somewhere nice as payment or even given some kind of early release.

40. I almost expect her to to be found dead from "suicide" before she can spill the beans and testify.
There are too many high level, connected, wealthy individuals involved that will not let her story come out.
She should put in 24 hour guarded safe house or something similar like they would do with a mafia informant. |
