Two People Linked to Kanye West's Campaign Are Active in GOP Politics

Source: NY Mag

At least two people with links to Kanye West’s nascent presidential campaign are also active in Republican Party politics.

One of West’s electors in the state of Vermont will also be a delegate to the Republican National Convention in Charlotte. Chuck Wilton, one of the three electors West’s presidential campaign named in a filing submitted with the Vermont Secretary of State on Monday, was also elected by the Vermont Republican Party in May to serve as a delegate for President Trump at this year’s RNC.

Asked by Intelligencer if he was the same person who was listed as a delegate, Wilton replied, “Yup, that would be me.” He said that he had been involved in politics in Vermont for years, and had been connected to the West campaign “through political contacts.”

Wilton was the second person with ties to the GOP to be linked to the West presidential campaign on Monday. A prominent Republican operative, Gregg Keller, was listed as the campaign’s point of contact in a filing with the Arkansas Secretary of State. Keller, who did not respond to repeated requests for comment, is the former executive director of the American Conservative Union and has worked for a number of prominent Republican politicians including Mitt Romney and Josh Hawley.

The vast majority of people who would vote for West are believed to be members core constituencies within the Democratic coalition. So a vote for West is a vote against Biden (or for 45). I thought this was plainly obvious to everyone.

... things on deck. When the cannon ball is fired the likelihood is that they will cause more damage to their ship than to the ships of their enemies. Cannons are best tied down and lashed to the deck then aiming the exiting projectile coming from the cannon at your enemy and not yourself is far more feasible.

Kanye and trDumpie are both inclined to shoot first and aim later, or not bother to aim at all.

It is inconceivable to think one intended to vote for Biden, but then at the last minute they said no I changed my mind, now I decided to vote for Kanye.

Kanye is a spoiler to the trDump vote. trDumpie voters are the only voters idiotic enough to switch their vote to Kanye at the last minute rather than vote for trDump. If the trDump voters plan was to fuck up the government and turn things upside down they might be inclined to switch to Kanye, because when it comes to fucking things up kanye is miles ahead of trDump especially if kanye is off his meds.

TrDump and kanye are kindred spirits almost carbon copies of one another. Biden and kanye are light years and galaxies apart and going in totally differing directions.

*******

But this is likely what is going on in these GOP operative's pinheads, they think they are playing 15 dimensional chess.

GOP Operative - Fact One:
Black women voted in large numbers for a young, handsome, charismatic, Black man. Case in point they voted resoundingly for Obama.

These same Black women will switch their votes from Biden and now vote for Kanye. Because deep down in their hearts Black women want to see another young buck Black man in the White House. So Biden can say bye bye to all those votes.

GOP Operative - Fact Two:
Young Black people both male and female who like to see another Black man in the White House. So all those voters who voted for Obama, rather than voting for Biden, will now vote for kanye, Biden can now kiss all the young Black votes bye bye.

GOP Operative - Fact Three:
Young people and young adults both Black and white love them some rapping/hip hop music. It is currently the most popular genres today. Kanye is a popular rap music artist. All the young people and young adults who listen to rap music will now vote for kanye. Biden can say bye bye to all those votes, because they will all switch their Biden votes to kanye votes.

First off Black women are not blindly driven by racial considerations as trDump base voters are. Black women are not readily inclined to hand there government over to a nincompoop if their skin happens to be white or Black. Intelligence, compassion, skills, ambition, aptitude, ability and honesty all factor into the equation of selecting the next president. They care for their country, they care for their children and want the best for them, their families and their neighbors.

Any notion that Black women voters, young and young adult Black voters would switch their votes from Biden to kanye on a lark and consider flushing their country down the toilet like trDump base voters did in 2016 is a slap in the face and an insult.

Black people care what happens to this country. With astounding patience and poise they have worked for centuries to make this country a better, more fair, and more just place in the face of incomprehensible adversities. But they keep chugging on to bring fairness and justices to this land we call America.

To think they would consider taking their vote for Biden that would block trDump from a second term, - and take that Biden vote and give it to Kanye West, thus split the Biden vote, empowering trDump to achieve his second term is the ultimate insult.

Black people are not stupid. Black people are not idiots. Black people are not driven by ethnocentric or racial motivations to leave a back door open to allow trDump to achieve his second term by trashing their vote by giving it to a spoiler candidate like kanye who intentionally attempted split the Biden vote and handed four more years to trDump on a silver platter.

Black people are way smarter than to trash the country by putting trDump back in the Oval Office for another four more years. The first four years was almost more than this country could endure. Except for the white supremacist evangelical racist and Fascist Hyper-Capitalists - they are just loving them some trDump - the rest of us want trDump gone yesterday and intend to make that happen soon.

We know he's crazy as hell and don't need another nut in the WH. We need to get rid of the one already there.

And I doubt his campaign will be much of a factor as he's already missed deadlines to get on the ballot in many states, and judging from his sobbing, bi-polar meltdown in his first campaign appearance, there won't be anymore of those.

And Kim K. allegedly laid down the law after that embarrassment by promising divorce if it continues.

He is a popular artist....influenced a lot of people. Not me. I can't think of anything I've heard that would make me want to listen to him. But I love, Louis Armstrong. Go figure.

Kanye is a bootstrap's kinda of guy, money-wise. Rags to riches. But....is he mentally stable? That impacts on how you perceive his vision....right? He's not a lot different than Trump, actually.....believes he's special and a lot smarter than everyone else (see my bank account!). Fatal flaw of venality. He's simply a different shade of Trump.

I think it's cluelessly racist to expect African-Americans to blindly vote identity. I can't speak for this community but I suspect most Blacks vote very strategically because their futures are always at greater risk than Whites, choosing reliable allies over identity as they did in 2008 by rallying around Clinton before Obama won Iowa and showed he had the momentum. Just my two cents.
