'Antifa' website cited in conservative media attack on Biden is linked to -- wait for it -- Russia

Source: Yahoo

WASHINGTON — At his press briefing Wednesday, President Trump, as he usually does, called for a question from Chanel Rion, the chief White House correspondent for the conservative One America News network, which has at times replaced Fox News as the president’s favorite news outlet. Rion’s question had nothing to do with COVID-19 or the economic recovery Trump had been boasting about, but instead brought up an obscure website, antifa.com.

“I wanted to highlight a kind of odd situation. In the last hour or so, if you googled ‘antifa.com,’ it would take you straight to Joe Biden’s website — his official campaign website — odd situation,” Rion said, adding, “We don’t know who’s behind that.”

Records for “antifa.com” in the domain name database Whoisology.com show the site was registered in the Russian Federation from 2013 through last July. Starting last November, the site’s registration was moved to Panama, The website has always been anonymously registered and its owners could not be reached for comment.

After briefly redirecting to Biden’s page on Wednesday, the site went dark. Based on copies of the site on the Internet Archive, it was blank from 2013 until June of this year when it began to feature a message in support of the protests that erupted around the U.S. following the killing of George Floyd. The page declared, “we are actively increasing Membership” but provided no contact information for anyone interested in joining.

The article goes on to explain OAN's pro-Russia bias, and Chanel Rion's reputation for peddling conspiracy theories.

It looks like Rion was chosen to be the fake journalist to call attention to this stupid prank right after the redirect was set up, and to try to suggest it proves there's a link between Biden/Harris and antifa.

is a joke. I just read about her (talk about fake). Her name, history, background, parents (her father is another fraudster who lies, changes his name, rips people off with real estate schemes, etc) employment, income, .....are all lies.

She reminds me of Seinfeld when Elaine describes her orgasms, "Fake, fake, fake, fake, fake".

My guess after the 2012 elections, Russia saw the writing on the wall. They were being crippled by the sanctions and saw that Hillary could win the next presidential election, and I would bet 2013 was when they kicked their political interference campaign into gear.

That's not a question
Reminds me of the *ahem* reporter from Talon years back at a Bush press conference

Senate Democratic leaders have painted a very bleak picture of the U.S. economy. Harry Reid was talking about soup lines. And Hillary Clinton was talking about the economy being on the verge of collapse. Yet in the same breath they say that Social Security is rock solid and there's no crisis there. How are you going to work – you've said you are going to reach out to these people – how are you going to work with people who seem to have divorced themselves from reality?

Trump's virus rallies have deteriorated to propaganda rallies. Hasn't anyone noticed that Trump isn't calling on reporters who ask tough questions? Trump is calling on "reporters" who have been given the questions to ask him.

The major news networks need to boycott these propaganda sessions. Why have the major networks send people who are never called on? Sending honest reporters and covering the propaganda rallies only gives them a bit of legitimacy.

I mean we should have known by now that Antifa has been a smoke screen, especially since I have yet to see the name of one person affiliated to Antifa who was arrested for rioting.

This is something they should have done 4 years ago but they absolutely need to do it now. It is the only way to restore their credibility. The WH is a propaganda machine working in cahoots with Russia (and likely Saudi Arabia, among others).

I caught on to that a few days ago...and when he tweeted "press conference at 5:30 enjoy" I knew he was setting up these reporters to give him the questions that he wanted. Pathetic. But, not surprising.

EXCLUSIVE: A changed name, an alleged fraudster dad and a VERY questionable resume: So how did Donald Trump's favorite White House correspondent pass security checks to become the social-distancing-defying briefing-crasher?

Chanel Rion is the pro-Trump journalist for conservative network OAN, which was removed from White House briefings for her refusal to socially distance
She was promptly re-invited by then press secretary Stephanie Grisham and Trump again invited her to ask a question - and has been back twice since
DailyMail.com reveals new questions over how the 29-year-old is allowed into the White House
She was born Chanel Dyan-Ryan and only changed her last name legally last year when she applied for a 'hard pass' for the White House
For years she had no obvious employment but posed in designer dresses and at expensive vacation venues
She describes herself as a Harvard graduate but actually enrolled in Harvard's Extension School where entry requirements are much lower
She claimed to be part of Trump's 2016 campaign but a senior Republican told DailyMail.com they had no memory of her
Rion appears to have visited New Hampshire with her brother and sister and was photographed in front of a Chris Christie sign
Her fiance, a combat veteran who servied in Iraq, ran for Senate in a Republican primary in Missouri as Courtland Sykes but his real first name is Bob

Hands-on presence: Donald Trump has singled out Chanel 'Rion' repeatedly to ask questions and praised her network. But his White House declined to answer how she was issued with a pass as DailyMail.com uncovered significant questions about her background

For the Moderators - those are not paragraphs, they are part of the headlines of the story.

The kicker for me - her father has been sued 31 times - and her brother is named Baron. She certainly has a lot in common with Ivanka - including Dolt45's hands on her!

When I heard this reporter ask this question yesterday, I knew immediately 2 things without even looking at the TV. 1) that this was an OANN reporter and 2) that Russia orchestrated that bait and switch.

We have real live Russian plants in the White House press room.
Trump seemed clueless. Which considering his level of intelligence, he most likely was.
