Kamala Harris Vows To Fight The Nomination Of Amy Coney Barrett

Source: Politics USA

Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) vowed to fight Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

Sen. Harris said in a statement provided to PoliticusUSA:

The Supreme Court has a profound impact on the rights of all Americans. As a U.S. Senator and member of the Judiciary Committee, I have a duty to ensure that a Supreme Court nominee will uphold the law and has a demonstrated commitment to equal justice. Americans across the country are already casting votes, and we will soon know the president and senators who will be sworn in next January. We must respect Americans’ voices and allow the winners of the election to nominate and confirm the next Supreme Court Justice.

From day one, President Trump made clear that he had a litmus test for Supreme Court Justices – destroy the Affordable Care Act’s protections for people with preexisting conditions and overturn our right to make our own health care decisions.

Barrett is not on the Supreme Court yet. She has to be confirmed first. We should all pull together to block her confirmation.

Perhaps enough to drive Kamala's questioning, and enough to justify doubt in her objectivity before the law when it sits second to her religious beliefs.

Ask her why it wasn't ok for Obama to nominate Gardner but it's ok for trump to nominate
her. And don't take any bullshit about the present and the senate being of the same party,
that's just bullshit from McConnell, doesn't mean anything. No legal basis. Keep punching.

Save our Health care/ACA and tell them NO new justice DURING an election. Tell your friends and family to call. Call all the Senators up for reelection. We need to be tougher and more determined than the GOP...no more knives to a gun fight or taking the fucking high road.

Don't whine or cry...stay angry and fight the GOP!!!

Indivisible has tons of info to help you do something/anything to stop this abuse of power.

But if bad stuff comes to light, maybe we can turn it around.

We have nothing to lose.
