(Axios) Scoop: Trump privately discussing 2024 run

Source: Axios

President Trump has already told advisers he's thinking about running for president again in 2024, two sources familiar with the conversations tell Axios.

Why it matters: This is the clearest indication yet that Trump understands he has lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden — even as the president continues to falsely insist that he is the true winner, that there has been election fraud and that his team will fight to the end in the courts.

Presidents are limited to serving two terms but they need not be consecutive.

Officials with the Trump campaign and White House could not immediately be reached for comment.

The day after his inauguration in 2016 he started collecting donor money for his 2020 election.....I would love to see the accounting for all the money he was collecting. Before that, he had an absolute, all out temper tantrum when they informed him that all the zillions given to his inauguration fund wasn't his, but had to go to the inauguration expenses. Reports were that he was yelling, "but that is MY money".........
A whole big bunch of that money was never accounted for, and the money that was accounted for was paid to his staff for phony shit, and obviously retained by him.........

I can see Trump being crazy enough (or greedy enough) to run in 2024, and I can definitely see his cult followers being crazy enough to vote for him again.

But the Republicans in Congress are beginning to whiff the sweet smell of freedom after having to kowtow to the Mango Menace for four years. They hate him as much as they fear him. But now, they are FREE! No way will the RNC allow Trump to be the Republican candidate in 2024.

That won't stop Trump, though, so the end result will be splitting the Republican voters between the Republican Party and the MAGA Party, à la Ralph Nader's presidential run, which cost Al Gore the presidency in 2000.

So let's all join in and support Donald's 2024 presidential aspirations!

So in a sense you are right - it'll be his dime. But he also realizes he has millions of followers who'll happily hand over money to hear him speak. He has not yet grasped how much money there is in being ex-President.

Parler is a United States-based microblogging and social networking service launched in August 2018. Parler has a significant user base of Trump supporters, conservatives, and Saudi nationalists. Posts on the website often contain far-right content,[9] antisemitism,[12][discuss] and conspiracy theories.[15] The site has been described as an alternative to Twitter, and is popular among people who have been banned from mainstream social networks or oppose their moderation policies.[16][4][17] The site markets itself as a "free speech" and unbiased alternative to mainstream social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. However, journalists and users have criticized the service for content policies that are more restrictive than the company portrays, and sometimes more restrictive than those of its competitors.[3][18][19][20] As of November 2020, the site had more than 4 million users.[21]

Maybe it's an indication that he believes he can still win, and running in 2024 is merely his first step toward The House of Trump's president for life campaign...

About time we found out how deeply he betrayed America. And HOLD HIM FULLY ACCOUNTABLE....and all his enablers.

Why not prison for a criminal POTUS ? But I know what you mean..
I do not see how jail or house arrest would interfere with fund raising though, his main aim imo
They won’t quit trump easily.

4 more years of hamberders? He's huffing and puffing now. Out of shape. Ripe for a variety of cardiovascular problems. He's not made an effort to get in shape. We live in a world where doing all the wrong things does eventually catch up with you. Donald Trump is not immune.

In his syphilitic twisted mind, he is figuring that since he will continue to be president for the next four years, a third consecutive term will be his right in 2024, since many people are saying he should have a third term because everyone has been so mean to him.
