Arizonas election results will become official Monday as Secretary of State Katie Hobbs plans to certify the results at 11 a.m.
This will officially award Arizonas 11 electoral votes to former Vice President Joe Biden. The final tally shows Biden received about 10,500 more votes than President Donald Trump in Arizona. State law allows the president to challenge results within five days, but federal law says any legal challenges must be resolved by Dec. 8.
Gov. Doug Ducey, Attorney General Mark Brnovich and Chief Justice Robert Brutinel will join Hobbs for Mondays ceremony, which will be livestreamed at the website here.
All states must certify their results before the Electoral College meets on Dec. 14. Florida is the only one of the four most populous states to certify so far, with California, Texas and New York scheduled to certify their results early in December.
