Feds seeking Harrisburg woman whose ex says she stole Pelosi's laptop during Capitol riot
Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Federal authorities have obtained an arrest warrant for a Harrisburg woman they suspect may have stolen House Speaker Nancy Pelosis laptop during the Jan. 6 Capitol siege with the intent of selling the device to Russias foreign intelligence services.
In an affidavit filed late Sunday evening, agents said they were contacted by the former romantic partner of Riley June Williams, 22, who recognized her in footage shot during the insurrectionist attack by the British network ITV.
Williams ex also reported having seen other video showing Williams pocketing the computer from Pelosis office and told investigators that Williams had said she intended to send it to a friend in Russia who would arrange the transfer to the SVR, the Russian equivalent of the CIA.
That deal fell through, Williams former partner told FBI agents according to the affidavit, and the laptop remains in her possession. By the time investigators tracked Williams down to the apartment she shares with her mother in Harrisburg, she had already fled, the affidavit states.

I think if they find the laptop, they'll find her.

Is a Harrisburg woman on the run with Nancy Pelosis laptop? ... The FBI says thats a possibility, according to an affidavit newly filed in federal court in Washington, D.C.
At the very least, that filing by FBI Special Agent Jonathan Lund states the feds have cause to charge Riley June Williams with violent entry and disorderly conduct on the Capitol grounds during the Jan. 6 riot by a pro-Trump mob.

The charges against Williams are based in part on a 32-minute video, Storming the Capitol: The Inside Story, that was created by ITV News, a British television network, and published on YouTube. Lund wrote that the video appears to show Williams participating in the riot inside the Capitol.
She has brown shoulder length hair and wears eyeglasses. She is wearing a black face mask below her chin, around her neck. She can be heard in the video repeatedly yelling, Upstairs, upstairs, upstairs, and can be seen physically directing other intruders to proceed up a staircase, the agent wrote. The video also shows a stream of intruders walking up a nearby staircase.
