Kelly announced during a television appearance Monday that she is seeking the Republican nomination for Bergen County clerk.
Kelly became well known for her role Bridgegate, when several local access lanes to the George Washington Bridge were closed over three days in September 2013. (110 posts)She will go nowhere if I can help it. Not my county, but very close by.
My husband almost got caught in all that nonsense at the GWB! He missed it because he leaves for work so early. So, just her comment, "Is it wrong that I'm smiling," should disqualify her!
The nerve and arrogance of these people leave me angry and shaking my head! Chris Christie left office with a 19% approval rating. Did debate prep with 45. And now is on ABC as a political commentator. Bill Stepien, another Bridgegate figure, became part of 45's re-election campaign. Now, this b$%#* is running for office? After someone died in that ridiculous, vindictive spectacle? No way!!!!

(2,496 posts)If she'll delve deeper into Christie's role in bridgegate then I think I want her to. I'll still vote against her if she's in my district, but if there's a way for it to come full circle and implicate Christie, then I want to hear what she has to say.
