Kansas Senate Majority Leader Gene Suellentrop had a blood alcohol level over twice the legal limit after his arrest, according to court documents released Thursday that allege he refused a Breathalyzer test and told an officer he could take him in a fight.
Suellentrop faces a felony charge of fleeing and eluding law enforcement and multiple misdemeanors related to an alleged early morning wrong-way chase on Topeka highways last month. The Wichita Republican has been mostly silent about the allegations against him.
But court documents released to The Star and other outlets reveal new details, including allegations that Suellentrop failed to respond to an officers repeated commands to turn off his vehicle once he finally stopped. The documents say his blood alcohol level was 0.17. The legal limit is 0.08.

And how do I know? Because if they voted to re-elect Trump.....the gold standard of corruption, bigotry, incompetency, and Fascism.....theyll take anybody, so long as they hate the same people.

(42,669 posts)or get away with it. Almost like there's a hierarchy of the application of the laws, whereas there should be standards that are followed nationwide.
This example doesn't get floated anymore but it does seem standard procedures were not followed. It falls in the "no reasonable person would believe it's true" category.

Belfour began begging officers not to take him to jail by offering them money, the story continued. He first offered Dallas police officers $100,000, then $1 billion, if they would not jail him.

(2,686 posts)that this fine servant of the community is vindicated and all charges are dropped lest his legacy be impaired by the rash actions of the police. Well, the police and the half a dozen people -- Democrats mostly -- who were going the wrong way on the highway when Leader Suellentrop, answering a frantic call from a constituent whose cat had fled up a tree, sped to assist her.
Arrested? Cuffed? Why? Because some cop looking for a promotion smashed into his SUV and splashed beer all over the inside of the good mans car before dragging him from behind the wheel and arresting him?
Outrageous, I say! Obama was never treated like this and it is well known how hed sneak out of the WH, six-pack in hand, and cavort along the beltway, stopping traffic by doing donuts, and flicking his middle finger at decency and the American way!
(I could go on. Do I need the sarcasm emoji here?)
