Melinda Gates began divorce moves at time Bill's meetings with Jeffrey Epstein revealed
Source: The Guardian
But it said few “compared in prestige and power to the [then] world’s second-richest person, a brilliant and intensely private luminary: Bill Gates. And unlike many others, Mr Gates started the relationship after Mr Epstein was convicted of sex crimes.” In 2008, Epstein reached a deal with authorities and was sentenced to 13 months confinement for soliciting prostitution from underage girls. The conditions of the deal were a source of controversy 11 years later, when Epstein was charged with sex trafficking. Found dead in a New York jail, he was deemed to have killed himself. Earlier this week, the Daily Beast reported that Melinda Gates warned her husband about associating with Epstein in 2013. The Wall Street Journal cited a former employee of the Gates Foundation who said relationships between the two men and other Gates employees continued after that warning. 19. News to me too.
I've heard he reached "on occasion, a sort of decent guy" status, but sainthood? I remember Microsoft in it's early years. They were far less than nice or saintly.

3. Not good, William.
Per the Journal, Melinda Gates was “uncomfortable” with Epstein after she and her husband met with him in 2013 and expressed concerns about him. But Bill Gates and members of the Gates Foundation continued their dealings with Epstein anyway, a matter that “still haunts” her, according to the Daily Beast, which first reported the 2013 meeting.

4. Bill is only a saint when it comes to some of his donations -
His company always did some underhanded and problematic things, and even now under different management MS is doing some crazy things like threatening privacy, data mining, and forcing updates just when you need to work. Some of those forced updates screw things up as well.
Oh well. |

18. That's why I don't have auto update because
there are certain updates that are nothing but ads downloading into the CPU files. But then which company doesn't do this.

7. Nearly everyone rich met Epstein
Especially if you were involved in philanthropy.
The brainworms Epstein has given some people are really weird. |

10. You are right, and even though it is very possible that Gates was only there to solicit money just
for philanthropy, being associated in any form with Epstein is not a good image, and he should have used better judgment

13. Exactly. Epstein traveled in lofty circles and many didn't know all the seedy things he did.
If there was a fundraising cocktail party that the Gates and Clintons and who knows who else, and they saw Epstein there, would they have turned around and walked away? If they were at an even and Epstein showed up, would the room empty?
Too much is being read into this. |

9. I hope the Gates Epstein connections were not about under age girls
But I am willing to give Bill the benefit of the doubt until I know more. I also hope this is
not Melinda Gates and or her lawyers trying to hurt Bill in the divorce proceedings. |

12. I think this is a lot of gossip from the US version of a British gossip rag....
Epstein was convicted in 2008. She began "moves" back then? I seriously doubt it.
Epstein, like Weinstein, charmed a lot of people and moved around in high circles. Many were unaware of the depth of their depravity until long after their association began. And most of their associations were business, not personal or friendly. |

I wouldn't put any stock in rags that believe in Big Foot and Gates partying with Epstein unless some real proof surfaces.
