Maybe the House minority leader could use a few more zzzzzs to clear his head.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) likely shocked typical humans Friday when he dinged President Joe Biden for apparently requiring at least five hours of sleep a night.
McCarthy was attempting to make a point about Bidens energy compared to Donald Trumps as he scoffed about sleep requirements.
Its not known how many hours a night Biden sleeps. But adults typically require seven to nine hours a night, according to the Mayo Clinic.
At no time, having known Joe Biden for quite some time, does he have the energy of Donald Trump, McCarthy told Sean Hannity on Fox News. Donald Trump didnt need to sleep five hours a night.

(47,399 posts)across as an idiot and for some reason the dumber you are in the republican party, the farther up the ladder you go.............OR you can be relatively intelligent, but extremely corrupt and immoral to succeed as well. Very strange set of qualifications. Maybe republicans' corporate overlords like them dumb and dishonest?
I guess on the upside, republicans are having a hard time finding negative things to say about President Biden, so they have to resort to the trivial, petty crap. Meanwhile, I hope Biden is getting at least five hours sleep a night.

I honestly think that a very important reason I am as phenomenally and annoyingly in as good health as I am is that most of my life I've gotten plenty of sleep.
These days I'm retired, and I go to bed when I feel like and wake up when I do. It seems to work out anywhere from 6 to 9 hours a sleep. More to the point, I don't get out of bed until I'm good and ready.

(19,193 posts)than His Assholiness did in an entire day. Joe doesn't require 4 hours of "executive time" every day, either.
One time I figured out how much "work" Dumpf did in one day from his official White House schedule . It came to a little over 3 hours. Like I said, Biden does more before noon every day, than Dumpf did in an entire day.
So fuck you, McCarthy. If I ever need to know what the inside of Dumpf's colon looks like, I'll be sure to ask you. You'd most certainly have a detailed description of that for me. 💩

Any intelligent human understands that "awake" and "aware" are different words for a reason, and that there's no connection between "being conscious" and "being productive." But these pathetic sycophants still groveling at Dim Don's smelly feet are desperate to convince anyone that he's fit, ready to fight, and prepared to rush right in there and take out the shooter. They keep tweeting that clip of him bobbing in place, smiling giddily because he's had a fresh snootful of toot from Junior's stash, but people see: Biden is working while Former #1 Russian Asset is doing nothing but whining about this embarrassing loss months ago.

my thought. He takes adderall, so likely sleeps less. People who dont get much sleep also have greater chance of dementia.

(46,080 posts)Former President George W Bush usually arrived at the Oval Office by 6.45am, while Barack Obama preferred to work out and got to the office between 9am and 10am.
Mr Trump's days are also shorter than during the early days of his administration, Axios reports, and finish around 6pm when he returns to his residence. Schedules released to the press show Mr Trump's last meeting of the day has routinely begun between 1 and 4pm.

(4,006 posts)of legislating. MTG and MCarthy are joined at the hip in offering smart-assed comments backed by nothing. It is amazing though that the leader of the House minority R's has stooped this low with cat-calls against a sitting president.
I do hope Psaki calls out MCarthy for living in a lobbyist's home and paying minimal rent. Maybe she can ask the press to determine if he and his landlord slept together? Hey, fight fire with fire but have others convey their criticisms from Joe in a indirect condemnations of his foolishness.
