Sen. Ron Johnson Claims Jan. 6 Was Not an Armed Insurrection Because People Stayed Within the Roped Lines
By Katherine Huggins Jun 13th, 2021, 9:13 pm
........................
.................
He referenced an eyewitness account, saying the vast majority were in a jovial mood, and while they were serious, they werent violent.
I think its extremely important to create an accurate historical record of exactly what happened so the false narrative that thousands of armed insurrectionists doesnt last, Johnson continued. Thats why I have my staff going and reviewing the relevant parts of the 14 hours worth of surveillance and were finding out some interesting things.
Levin asked what the footage revealed, and Johnson replied that they counted about 309 people entering a door next to police without any confrontation.
He later concluded: They werent rioting. It doesnt look like an armed insurrection when you have people that breach the Capitol, and I dont condone it, but theyre staying within the roped lines in the Rotunda. Thats not what armed insurrection would look like...............................

Involvement in an insurrection gets a Congress person expelled.
Involvement in a tourist event does not get a Congress person expelled.
They desperately need this to be seen as a tourist event.

(70,489 posts)... HRC winning. (From memory I might be wrong on some) What Manafort gave the Russian agent,
Konstantin Kilimnik, was not polling data but data analytics or what could be turned into data analytics
(weaponized data) so Russia knew where and by how much they had to rat fuck our elections.
In Wisconsin and in some other states too it was a two pronged attack. Remove people from voting
rolls .... In Wisconsin this was done in Dane & Milwaukee counties .... and in the smaller and or rural
counties "they" flipped or deleted some very targeted areas.

We will instead contribute those funds to Johnson's Democratic challengers when the time comes.

(111,241 posts)from souvenir seekers. They are not in the way and there would have been no reason to cross them, the coup attempt wasn't focused on despoiling the images of dead politicians, it was focused on killing live ones.
If that had caught up to Johnson, "do you know who I am?" wouldn't have saved him, they wouldn't know him or any of his staffers if they had ribbons and labels on them
What passes for journalism falls flat on its face again. The follow up question should have been "then why did you evacuate the chamber along with everybody else?" I'd love to know the answer to that question.

(16,254 posts)How about the cop that was trapped as "visitors" crushed him until he screamed for help? Were they within the ropes?
The horned wonder. I didn't see any ropes around the desk/chair he was sitting on.
Dang, I've seen numerous videos but must have missed the organized group of visitors as they walked between the ropes, screaming for Mike Pence. The only rope I heard mentioned was the one they wanted to use to hang Pence.
In my old age, I guess my comprehension is totally skewed. Gotta work on that.
