Alex Jones Flips On Trump, Decides Maybe 'He's A Dumbass'
Source: HuffPost
Far-right talk radio host and prolific conspiracy theorist Alex Jones turned on Donald Trump after the former president said hed been vaccinated against COVID-19 and encouraged his supporters to do the same.
At a rally Saturday night in Cullman, Alabama, Trump was booed after telling followers the vaccine works. I believe totally in your freedoms, I do. You got to do what you have to do. But I recommend take the vaccines. I did it. Its good, he said.
During his InfoWars programming Sunday, Jones raved about the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine and how hes certain it will create mutants. He declared that Trump was following orders from the left to go out and push the vaccine.
CNN snaps their fingers. [CNN President] Jeff Zucker snaps his fingers, and Trump clicks his heels and hops up there at attention and says, How high do you want me to jump, boss? Jones said.

This is getting interesting. Trump's money-making scheme has infringed on Jones' money making scheme, and Jones is fighting back. Looks like the right wing grifters are getting too greedy to share the pie, and they are begiinning to fight over it.
Promises to be a hell of a food fight.

(3,622 posts)What I suspect is that some of the remaining business-mainline R's have prevailed on him that it will be impossible for them to win in 2024 if the lose a few percent of their bloc, and he does care about that.

New York (CNN Business)The right-wing channel Fox News, whose top personalities have for months assailed the concept of vaccine passports and argued that asking about vaccine status amounts to a major intrusion of privacy, told employees this week that they must disclose their vaccination status to the company.
In a Tuesday memo updating staff on Covid-19 procedures, Fox News Media chief executive Suzanne Scott said that the company has "asked all employees whether on site as part of our essential workforce or working remotely to upload their vaccination status" into an internal database. "All employees must enter their status no later than today, August 17th, by close of business," Scott wrote, bolding that particular sentence in her email, which was obtained by CNN Business, but first reported on by AdWeek.
Scott added that while masks remain optional for vaccinated employees, the company is "requiring employees to wear a mask in small, confined spaces with limited opportunities for social distancing and where there are multiple employees, including control rooms." Scott, however, notably stopped short of saying that vaccines will be mandated to enter the offices. Still, the mandatory reporting of vaccine status flies in the face of the commentary from the network's top stars.
Tucker Carlson has repeatedly suggested to reporters who ask him about his vaccination status that the question is akin to asking about their sex life. And Sean Hannity has repeatedly talked up "doctor-patient confidentiality."
Fox News spokespeople did not respond when asked about the discrepancy between the rhetoric from the channel's top stars and its own internal policies.

Now with yesterday's "full approval", they might "quietly" (or try to do it "quietly" ) mandate it.

(1,522 posts)One of Jones cohorts was reported on saying there was a federal arrest warrant out for him, and Jones was supposedly with him Jan 6th.
And Trump can no longer do anything for Jones and company so let the infighting begin.

(50,533 posts)If the COVID vaccine creates mutants, then what made Alex Jones the way he is? Trying to stretch out a pound of potassium cyanide too far? Dude, one pound of KCN is NOT going to do it if you're using a 400-gallon water trailer you stole from the National Guard to mix your Kool-aid in.
