Wonderful and historic speeches.
I signed up for monthly contributions to the DNC so Joe will know how much I liked it.

Today, Virginia Republicans introduced a bill to allow f*cking EXPLOSIVES in the VIRGINIA CAPITOL BUILDING. The extremism and violence of the Republicans knows no bounds. They must be defeated at all costs if we want to keep our democracy.

He did not speak his name, I think as part of a sort of protocol against criticizing former Presidents, but it was obvious. He flamed him bigtime.

There were no words minced. He TOLD HIM OFF, and he warned all concerned that we are in a BATTLE, and that we would never give up our country. This is the first time that we have heard our President AND the Vice President declare that we are fighting for our country in clear, concise terms. There is no doubt about it. This was a rallying speech which laid out what they did on January 6th, what the whole danged GOP are trying to do, and how the world is watching to see who wins. And, he stated HE was going to stand in the breech and prevent the loss of our country to autocrats, dictators, and selfish people who are only out for power and money.

He also took note that the former pRes stood by for hours watching on TV and doing nothing.

I didn't see any misstep here. It was a bold speech. It was brutally honest and quite frankly, it punched Trump in the face. I loved it. I have waited so long to hear somebody just tell the danged truth about Trump and his thugs. Joe just stood up for us all. He called for us all to do our duty as citizens and GOTV against these spiteful tyrants. His speech was just the truth, and we all know it.
