GOP Rep. Trey Hollingsworth announces he won't seek reelection to Indiana seat

Source: CNN

GOP Rep. Trey Hollingsworth of Indiana announced on Wednesday he will not seek a fourth term in November, becoming the 12th House Republican to say he won't run for reelection.

Overall, 38 House members have now announced they won't be seeking another term in 2022, when many lawmakers will be running in altered congressional districts thanks to redistricting.

Eleven of the those 38 members not seeking reelection -- six Democrats and five Republicans -- are running for Senate or governor.

Republican Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri announced he’s not running for reelection, opening up another seat for Democrats to win.

And Blunt is not alone.

Four other Republican Senators — Richard Shelby (Alabama), Rob Portman (Ohio), Richard Burr (North Carolina), and Pat Toomey (Pennsylvania) — are also quitting the Senate.

It's abundantly clear that IN-9 would never elect a Vermont-Style politician. So, I'd be VERY happy with a reddish/purplish DEMOCRAT if we could flip that seat!
