Leaked Kremlin Memo to Russian Media: It Is "Essential" to Feature Tucker Carlson
Source: Mother Jones
The Russian government has pressed outlets to highlight the Fox hosts Putin-helping broadcasts.
On March 3, as Russian military forces bombed Ukrainian cities as part of Vladimir Putins illegal invasion of his neighbor, the Kremlin sent out talking points to state-friendly media outlets with a request: Use more Tucker Carlson.
It is essential to use as much as possible fragments of broadcasts of the popular Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who sharply criticizes the actions of the United States [and] NATO, their negative role in unleashing the conflict in Ukraine, [and] the defiantly provocative behavior from the leadership of the Western countries and NATO towards the Russian Federation and towards President Putin, personally, advises the 12-page document written in Russian. It sums up Carlsons position: Russia is only protecting its interests and security. The memo includes a quote from Carlson: And how would the US behave if such a situation developed in neighboring Mexico or Canada?
The documenttitled For Media and Commentators (recommendations for coverage of events as of 03.03)was produced, according to its metadata, at a Russian government agency called the Department of Information and Telecommunications Support, which is part of the Russian security apparatus. It was provided to Mother Jones by a contributor to a national Russian media outlet who asked not to be identified. The source said memos like this one have been regularly sent by Putins administration to media organizations during the war. Independent media outlets in Russia have been forced to shut down since the start of the conflict.

If the first shot is fired at anger, he and his entire criminal support system should be jailed for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. In this age of oneupsmanship daily outrage Tucker doesnt just do the old man authenticating what youve heard all day like OReilly did. He has an hour to fill and he goes off on his own quite often. He becomes becomes the next days material and he has a large audience. Hes their last word for the day.

(70,483 posts)ExFox News Producer Indicted for Working With Russian Oligarch
He (Hanick) later was among the first employees at Fox and directed Sean Hannitys show.
Just two days after President Biden declared the federal government was going after Russian oligarchs to seize your yachts, your luxury apartments, your private jets, the Manhattan U.S. Attorneys office filed its first-ever criminal indictment for violating the Ukraine sanctions and its against an American former Fox News employee. The indictment, filed on Thursday in Manhattan federal court, accuses Jack Hanick of working with Konstantin Malofeyev, a blacklisted Russian banker who allegedly helped finance paramilitary groups in eastern Ukraine, to launch right-wing media networks in Russia, Greece, and Bulgaria.
Hanick, 71, appears to have been a close ally of former Fox News chief Roger Ailes, according to his LinkedIn page. Prior to Ailess launching of the right-wing-news channel in 1996, Hanick directed Straight Forward With Roger Ailes at CNBC during the future Fox bosss brief stint at the business-news network. He later was among the first employees at Fox and directed Sean Hannitys show. According to the indictment, Hanick met Malofeyev at a business conference in Russia and later moved to Russia in 2013 to help Malofeyev create a network, called Tsargrad TV, on the premise that they could create a Russian version of Rupert Murdochs channel. In many ways Tsargrad is similar to what Fox News has done. We started from the idea that there are many people who adhere to traditional values and they absolutely need a voice, Malofeyev told the Financial Times in 2015.

(70,483 posts)On election night 2016, former Fox News director Jack Hanick was in Moscow attending a pro-GOP party, where the organizers unveiled a larger-than-life portrait of Donald Trump, with with a piercing blue-eyed gaze, painted on a stark black canvas.
Hanick sat for a video interview at that party, facing the heroic visage of the soon-to-be 45th president a man who cheated on his third wife with an adult-film star. Hanick used his camera time to criticize an American candidate he insisted had betrayed traditional values: Hillary Clinton.
Even though Clinton professes to be a Christian, he said, all of her policies are actually moving away from those positions.
The United States was losing its moral core and fiber, Hanick continued. By contrast, he praised the moral awakening in the land led by Vladimir Putin. Russia has been embracing Orthodox Christianity. This has been a major change. Russia is moving toward Christianity; America is moving away from Christianity.
snip
Hanick moved to the Russian capital in 2013 to help Malofeyev, an arch-conservative in Putins inner circle, launch a new network called Tsargrad TV. But as they were ramping up the project in late 2014, Malofeyev a devout Orthodox Christian conservative who made his fortune in finance was hit with U.S. sanctions for promoting Russias incursions into Ukraine.

Evangelicals. They think that "the living God" is inside of them and that makes them morally

that. I saw one barn with Jesus & Trump walking side by side with a sunset and an eagle in the
background. The yard had confederate, Christian Cross flags, and American flags in it.
BTW if you peel back the layers you get down to a few things. They hate blacks, they are still
pissed off about the outcome of the Civil War, and they are always screaming about "their values"
being under attack even though you can see their Churches everyplace.
You come up on this shit @ night off of I 81 and feel a cold chill come over you.
BTW this former Fox News director Jack Hanick is not Christian at all when it comes to the teachings
of Christ but just a grifter like Trump and is just using Christianity as a cover to push right wing crap.

He is a bastard, but he is not the worst bastard of the lot. Carlson probably doesn't believe 2% of what he says, but he is one of those people who willingly trade conscience for fame.
I suspect that if you could follow all of the threads of the anti-American spider web back to the main line, you would find that the Democracy trap was supported by the same tiny group of people who are so powerful as to beyond the reach of mortal men.

(978 posts)Tucker Carlson should be arrested as a foreign agent. I'm sure that if you follow the money, you will find an account in the Cayman Islands where the Russians deposit cash in his name. Just like we've shut down RT, we should also ferret out all connections to the Kremlin inside of Fox. I'm not saying we do anything impulsively, I just suggest the evidence is strong enough to warrant a real investigation. I'm sure they will find proof of these allegations as soon as they turn over a few rocks.

Standing with Hurst were Hitler sympathizers Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh. With fresh memories of the first war with the Kaiser's Germany, there was broad support in the US for isolationism. Europe was far away and the Atlantic Ocean would protect us from harm.
It is often forgotten that it was HITLER's declaration of war that formally brought us into the European alliance.
