1. I was at the grocery store last night, and I would guess 90% of the shoppers were masked.
It was impressive. My cashier wasn't, though.

7. Not in the Midwest. Went to town Wednesday to get our covid booster
and we were the only ones wearing masks. Not even the girl at the drugstore who gave us our booster shot, no one wore a mask.

4. A lot of people who were/are careful are getting it now.
They somehow avoided previous Covid waves but are now getting nailed after 2 years. Not good.

5. I was in the grocery store today.
And exactly two people were wearing masks. One of them was me. Going back to grocery pickup.

6. My rural county
of 30,000 people has three new hospitalizations after several weeks of none. Gauging case counts accurately seems to be practically impossible now, so I look at hospitalizations for the most part...and that's a pretty big spike for THIS particular dysfunctional craphole.

11. That made me laugh
“Dysfunctional craphole.”
It is nice to like where one lives, and that is how I feel about this place most of the time. People here are still wearing masks. |

9. Like Colbert,
I am very grateful to be vaxxed and boosted!
I am continuing to be cautious, however, and I wear a mask whenever I go out, continue to distance and use the disinfectants. But if I do test positive, I am not as worried as I would be without having been vaxxed and boosted. I also continue to abhor anti-vaxxers and always will. |

13. Not one of these celebrity Covid cases have mentioned masks in their announcement
Always missing the chance to say something along the lines of "Mask up folks its still out there, and get your boosters too!"
But no - the pukes have made uttering the M-word anathema. Missed opportunity. |
