Donald Trump Calls for Protests Ahead of Potential Tuesday Arrest
Source: Newsweek
Former President Donald Trump has called for protests and predicted that he will be arrested on Tuesday in relation to an investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. "NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!" Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on early Saturday morning, writing in all caps. Read more: https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-calls-protests-ahead-potential-tuesday-arrest-1788695 Note: LBN post just below on similar topic is not proper by the guidelines. Note 2: "TAKE OUR NATION BACK" is like "YOU MUST FIGHT" that was said January 6th, 2021 and "Be there, it will be wild!" December 2020.

It will be more like Elvis's fan clubs protesting his induction into the Army. I remember much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
This time, it's a fan club protesting an arrest over a misdemeanor that will result in a fine and probation if he's convicted. By the time he ever gets the big charges, they'll have run out of gas completely, outrage fatigue is definitely a thing. |

Trump says he’ll be arrested Tuesday as DA eyes charges
NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump said in a social media post that he will be arrested Tuesday as a New York prosecutor is eyeing charges in a case examining hush money paid to women who alleged sexual encounters with the former president. Trump said in a post on his Truth Social network early Saturday that “illegal leaks” from the Manhattan district attorney’s office indicate that “THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK.” Trump urged his followers to protest. Law enforcement officials in New York have been making security preparations for the possibility that Trump could be indicted. where indictments are usually "sealed" from public review pending a judicial release (but obviously the defendant's lawyers would know either way). The "preparations" thing would be irrelevant except for something the media could use to speculate about but the fact that the unhinged tweet mentioned "leaks" and goes into a defensive, excuse-making CT rant actually suggests some truth to the matter and his usual ability to harness the media for sympathetic attention.
He supposedly only watched the RW loon media and I expect none of them were reporting on "preparations" although I refuse to have to don a biohazard suit to look at what was being said on OAN or Newsmax or Faux. |

Since he has threatened violence for Tuesday. Hold him at an undisclosed location until his arraignment.

76. The first comment from this story:
"There are 155 million registered voters, 35 million are registered republicans, polls indicate that 10 million of them are "forever trump". Only 6% of registered voters or 3% of the population love trump. This is a fact that should be presented more often in any new story regarding trump. He isn't popular in a good way, the vast majority of americans, republicans included do not care what happens to him and most want him to go away. We talk about him so much people simply think he's more popular then he really is and that's why his base is so loud"
If there is an attempted January 6 revolt on Tuesday, if trump is indicted, the FBI, and law enforcement better be ready in large numbers to do their job and arrest people immediately if any violence is attempted by the rioters. |

79. Be prepared for the new martyr Trump campaign from him
An arrest will only help his popularity among the MAGAs as he attempts to call them to action against his ""enemies." It also means his only possible "get out of jail free" card is to be elected President, so he will campaign with desperation.

88. This guys is such an idiot. Unless there are other more serious charges
this was going to be a very quiet process. No perp walk, just a simple arraignment and processing, then he would be released.
He would then be free to fight it but the judges most likely are prepared to keep everything moving at a good clip. As mentioned on MSNBC this morning by Barb McQuade (I think); she said John Edwards was arraigned on something similar and basically beat it. |

100. They are warning themselves "it's a trap!"
From the American Thinker site, a very nutty one, but one that tries to avoid overt Q stuff: Stay home, and let the lawyers handle it. This is a set-up, just like January 6. Don't fall for it.
Don't go anywhere near a federal building, don't stand with groups of people you don't know, and don't send threatening emails. Stay home, and let the lawyers deal with it. President Trump has good lawyers, he has great lawyers...he even has had Alan Dershowitz as a lawyer. Trials are meant to be won, by rich people. President Trump is rich. Let him fight his battle. He has proven more than capable. It's okay to be angry about things. And we are supposed to have the right to protest peacefully. However, they will sabotage that right. They will inject fake bad actors for the express purpose of charging you with a crime. This will be an attempted Charlottesville and January 6 mass-arrest false flag operation. The current meme (old, true sense of the word) going around reich wing circles is that Pelosi set up Jan6 as a trap for innocent protesters. |
