Source: Honolulu Star Advertiser

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A federal judge in Sacramento has rejected a challenge by so-called "birthers" seeking to halt the counting of Electoral College votes for President Barack Obama.

U.S. District Court Judge Morrison C. England on Thursday rejected a petition for a temporary restraining order filed by Orly Taitz, an attorney who has lost challenges in several states seeking to overturn Obama's election.

They beat a dog to death and then turn around and find themselves wanting to run from their dribble. They will be wanting to push for Rubio and Jindal were both born to parents who was not citizens of the US at the time of their birth. They run a sex scandal and then many in their party are guilty of scandals at the same time. They need to get over themselves while they still have dignity.

(Which is saying something.) When are they going to get around to just disbarring her?

Maybe she ought to go before the State Bar Ethics Board or whatever it is in California someday.

And here's Lawrence O'Donnell's classic on-air embarrassment of an oblivious Taitz the night after Obama finally revealed his long-form.

She's so unintentionally funny. Besides, she did a very good job of keeping her very own birther movement from effectively swiftboating Obama, even if it wasn't her intention.

This woman is wasting other people's time and money in something that is probably just an attempt to remain in the public eye in order to enrich herself.

lawsuits to court? They're wasting the court's time.

Seriously, McCain was born in Panama, on US territory, but was still rightly able to run for president. I would have called any "birther" challenges to McCain a waste of time too.

I'm pretty sure the courts and the government are capable of determining if a person is able to run for pres.

Even if you did that, she'd still have plenty of money. Where does she get it from? She isn't exactly successful as a lawyer, and while dentistry does pay well, it wouldn't cover the costs of both living a upper middle class lifestyle and the costs of all the failed filings she's produced.
