Unhinged Tactical Response CEO Threatens To ‘Start Killing People’ Over Obama’s Gun Control

Source: Rawstory

The CEO of a Tennessee company that specializes weapons and tactical training is threatening to “start killing people” if President Barack Obama moves forward with gun control measures.

In a video posted to YouTube and Facebook on Wednesday, Tactical Response CEO James Yeager went ballistic over reports that the president could take executive action with minor gun control measures after the mass shooting of 20 school children in Connecticut last month.

---CLIP
“I’m telling you that if that happens, it’s going to spark a civil war, and I’ll be glad to fire the first shot. I’m not putting up with it. You shouldn’t put up with it. And I need all you patriots to start thinking about what you’re going to do, load your damn mags, make sure your rifle’s clean, pack a backpack with some food in it and get ready to fight.”

The CEO concluded: “I’m not fucking putting up with this. I’m not letting my country be ruled by a dictator. I’m not letting anybody take my guns! If it goes one inch further, I’m going to start killing people.”

and killed 168 people, (19 of them under 6, iirc) stated that he did that as a reaction to Waco, not because he got "crazier". He was sane, thoughtful, and deadly, and an Iraq War veteran.

And this guy (btw, I suspect it's the ones we don't read about that we should be concerned with) isn't crazy either, I suspect. He is talking about a response to government regulation and armed agents of the government enforcing it. So the likelihood of similar happenings is probably fairly high. He only used fertilizer and diesel fuel, but people have been hiding and burying much more lethal stuff since the 60's. They are discovered on occasion, some percentage of the total that is out there.

"These same guys just a few years ago would have been labeled Militias and grouped with Tim McViegh and others to be closely watched but they changed their colors a little and redirected their hate a little to get a short time hall pass. I truly believe the media and government agencies will soon be latching back into them as the war continues to go south in Iraq and we have more armed against unarmed citizen shootings inside America"

Sadly, the part this commentator got wrong was the "I truly believe the media and gov't agencies will soon be latching back onto them"
No, the part that hasn't come true is the media has NOT escalated our awareness of these type guys. Nor villified them.

some shows and hand out a little literature. Then a few crimes and murder.

People call him "crazy", and I just don't see the evidence. He took what he learned as a soldier and killed people, and from then on defended his position, and was executed.

He, like any revolutionary, went after the sitting government, and there are people like that throughout history. Their thinking process led them to think that killing a bunch of people would fix anything. Something like our Drone policy in Afghanistan perhaps. And he had a reasonably high intelligence, from what I've read.

I was just pointing out that thinking of people as idiots or mentally broken may cause us to miss the real candidates. Might need a better search filter.

Of course they will kill themselves after they have killed everyone else- another sign of cowardice- instead of being taken alive and made to face the music of their actions. These scared cowards wouldn't dare take responsbility for what they have done by having something hopefully worse, happening to them. Something like putting them through a whole lot of pain, torture and suffering, before giving them DEATH in the end! That should work.

As a family counselor, I know that these issues always DRIFT over to the family system and make everybody miserable! The family cares more than this addicted fool does, he is enjoying the fun of it all and everybody else paying the cost and taking the blame for his stupidity. The family always give this a-hole another chance...and another...and another...get the picture?

The "perpetrator" never changes, he/she will go through every family member one, two, or three at a time until everybody is all used up. It is known as "burned bridges".

Remember the mantra: you can pick your friends but not your family! My advice is to get out while you can and let the culprit make it on their own-or not.

This man seems to have come entirely unhinged.

I have spoken plenty recently here at DU about my own opposition to certain gun control measures. And there have been times, good Magistrate, when you & I have found ourselves on opposite sides of this issue. But I know that you & I agree that rational discussion is the best course of action on this and any other political question. It sounds to me (from just reading the quotes: my connection is too slow for video) like this man needs to either chill-out voluntarily, or perhaps face some radical interventions in his near future...

I told him I wouldn't do it, but perhaps one of the other artists (who weren't there that day) would be willing.

He very politely said thank you and left.

My mother had a uncle, who had numbers on his forearm - and in my innocence (I was 3) I asked what it was about... He kind of shuddered - but told me, that he had been in a place where evil ones lived - and that the evils had tattooed a number on his hand to be sure who he was.. Thankfully he was able to leave the evil place, to live where kindness and good persons live. This was a symbols for him - that even evil can be conquered by the good ones.. And I kind of "okay" and that was the last of it..

Years, and years, and years after I understood what he really meant - but then he was dead so I could not say it to him.. (He died in 1988)

I guess it is a sobering lesson, to know what we humans can do to each other if we want - humans can do great things, but human kind is as evil as the darkest parts of Hell if we choose to...

I understand your sentiment - but the Iron Cross is not exactly the same as a Swatchica or a SS rune - the Iron Cross was original a knight cross, where was given to soldiers who had doing great deeds in wars - in fact many symbols of the Nazi regime was symbols from long time ago - but was used in a way that ruined the symbols for as long as someone still will be able to remember the nazi regime... If I was in the business - I would refuse to tattoo anything like an iron cross - or other symbols who was known to be used by the nazi-germany regime between 1933 and 1945... Many in may family was fighting the germans - in the resistance, or in service for the king and country in the wars - some died also, in KZ camps - or survived, to be mer skeletons when they come home after the war - and had horrible nightmares for the rest of their natural liefs.. Some principles is to important to have, than to earn some money..

And I understand why you hesitated about tattoo a iron cross - as I doubt anyone would just have a iron cross on their body - if they was not into nazism in one way or another.. Nazisms are not just the hooligans you see on TV now and then.. In many cases some of the worst criminals under Hitler Germany, was clean cut, polite and very civilized - when they ordered millions to their death in east europe.... Some of the worst, Hendrick, Dr Mengele, and many others, was never them selfs bloody and with unclean hands - Dr Mengele is reported to have a clean uniform every day, and spoke in a gentle voice - even as he was sending jews, children, woman and men to their graves in the gas shambers... Pure evils come in many forms - some of the worst, wear often suits when they do their crimes...

I know - but they have always, after the war, when Germany was allowed to have an air force again (after 1949-1955) hold back using the old symbols in germany - mostly because many still had strong feelings about the potent symbols like the Iron cross..

After all - many still live who experienced Germany from a whole different perspective than today - and one have to admit, the symbols is rather potent - even today, more than 60 year after the war...

In addition to these, this fact shows how gun-ownership behavior will now encumber public resources that I have helped to pay for. Those resources will be involved ON HIS SAY SO, not by any collective sense of the people it will affect.

Georgia Militia Terrorists Fit DHS Bulletin Profile Perfectly

September 03, 2012 11:00 AM
By David Neiwert

It's emblematic of just how cowed our federal authorities have been by the right-wing blowback against calling right-wing domestic terrorists what they actually are that the prosecutors in Georgia who recently charged a group of far-right militiamen with plotting carry out a series of attacks in Washington state and to assassinate President Obama took to calling them, in their press announcements, "anarchists" -- which meant, of course, that the media promptly followed suit...

In every other regard, however, these men were indisputably classic right-wing extremists:

-- One of the leaders of the plot, Joseph Aguigui, was a page at the Republican National Convention in 2008.

-- All of the plotters were members of the military and espoused a far-right philosophy, including targeting President Obama for assassination. "I did think that the government needed to change, and I thought that we were the people to be able to change it," one of the plotters told the judge in pleading guilty.

-- The targets of their terrorist acts were generally "liberal" government entities -- poisoning the Washington apple crop, for instance, likely targeted the liberal Seattle consumer market, the main consumers of those crops -- although no one can quite figure out why they targeted Savannah's Forsyth Park...

A lot more is at the link it is why I conclude nothing can be done wholesale, but only incrementally. DHS was cowed by right wing media for their report, which has proved to be accurate in 2009 and is cited at the link and it says we have been living with the results ever since then. This guy is part of that, and due to the common notions of the First Amendment and the belief system of sixty million or more far right, anti-government voters, will go free.:

incompetence. Video on youtube and incident report here:
http://hockscombatforum.com/index.php/topic,2690.0.html

Many military types commenting on the story pretty much predicted this.....scary...excerpts from story below:

"In the end him and his group of colleagues will do more damage to Americas fragile gun ownership rights and bring even further legislation against average guy and gal firearms owners in America through their comic book reality weapons and anti-terrorist training."
This part is just friggin' scary:
"It is and always has been a matter of time till one of their undocumented students pulls a episode on par with Virginia Tech, or at least as morally wrong and indefensible and for that matter who is to say Mr. Seung-Hui Cho the murdering psychopath was not trained by them or someone like them since they purposefully keep no records on such matters nor identify participants in their paranoid mentality ask no questions firearms training? These same guys just a few years ago would have been labeled Militias and grouped with Tim McViegh and others to be closely watched but they changed their colors a little and redirected their hate a little to get a short time hall pass. I truly believe the media and government agencies will soon be latching back into them as the war continues to go south in Iraq and we have more armed against unarmed citizen shootings inside America."

So this is a guy who charges wannabe gun fighters an average of $250 a day to shoot their own weapons and at targets (if they don't have their own weapons they can conveniently "rent" them, no doubt just as much of a bargain as the "course&quot or to watch others shoot guns at targets if they just want to be spectators. And he pretends that this prepares them to go and fight - who? What a racket.

123. "He also trains police departments."

Uh huh. Does he really? I see stuff about police officers taking his training, I see nothing about any accreditation for training of police departments. So I suspect that any police officers are forking over their own dough for the training. And he has an impressive list of course titles on an otherwise crappy looking website along with a lot of boasting and tough talk. Color me skeptical. Assuming he really does get jurisdictions to pay him for training their police departments, how long will that continue once they hear his spew promoting armed insurrection?

Don't believe me? Here is a snippet from one of the course descriptions:

High Risk Civilian Contractor - CQB (Raids and Rescues)
5 Days / $1750
Details:
Close Quarters Battle means fighting inside of a structure for the rescue of a client or for a raid. Topics include raid planning, route planning, recon, asset managment, team movement in rural and urban settings, multiple breaches, signals, security, support, elements of an assault and casualty collection.

This is an intense fast paced course. You will be pushed in a series of square range. open terrain, wooded terrain and many CQB scenarios. This course is perfect for the High Risk Civilian Contractor, SWAT cop, or Soldier who is looking for an aggressive close combat course.

We are typically asked what type of physical condition a student should be in to attend this course. There is no easy answer. If you want to get the most out of this course you should be in moderate condition at least. Simply put, if you cannot run 100 yards with full gear (or a 25 pound backpack) you will not get your money's worth. Can you still take the course? We hope you will use this as a motivation for getting yourself "battle ready".

There is no accredited police training academy in the country which does not have a strict set of physical conditioning standards for basic training of police recruits, let alone for an elite training course for a SWAT team - which this purports to be. Anyone who falls for this could find themselves "training" with overweight out of shape dough boys carrying weapons (and paying big bucks for the privilege). What a happy thought. This is laughable. I call bullshit on this guy.

Seems as though accreditation in TN is voluntary and there doesn't seem to be too many departments that make the effort, considering the number of counties and cities in the state.

I think Yeagar has found a nice little niche market that the good ole boys are falling for.

130. Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush both have issued executive orders regarding gun control
Thu Jan 10, 2013, 06:38 PM

-snip-
There's ample precedent. After a mass school shooting in Stockton, California, in 1989, George H.W. Bush issued an executive order, pursuant to the 1968 Gun Control Act, that banned imports of certain assault weapons unless used for sporting purposes. Years later, Bill Clinton by executive order banned imports of almost five dozen different assault weapons that had been modified to get through that "sporting purposes" exemption. President Obama could go even further.

I hope the media will start talking about the EO's that have been issued in the past,
so that folks will not think that President Obama is trying to do something that hasn't been done before - it might calm the right-wing nuts down a bit.

None of what he's done in the past should make him immune from detention and questioning at the very least. His getting away with this hitting the internet, and then having enough time to walk it back on yet a second video makes me believe that this whole drama of outrageous histrionic trolls is, by design, stochastic terrorism -- by whose design, we should try to find out. Is it all media hype? Paid for by foundations? Individuals? I notice that youtube didn't take it down, yet publicly calling for civil war and claming he will kill is itself a crime.

that we need complete bans on most firearms and ammunition. Not all gun nuts of them are as outspoken as this shithead but every single gun owner (people who own handguns or assault weapons, not talking hunters here) I have ever spoken with at length about this issue is ready to kill their neighbors if someone threatens to take away their little toys.....

You are a disgrace to all of Tennessee. And Tennessee being what it has become over the past two decades is saying a lot.

This guy has so many tattoos, perhaps some had lead in the ink, and it is leeching out and getting to his brain. Perhaps he should be examined by a health professional.

This video, before Mr. Yeager edited it, resulted in his CCW Permit being revoked just hours ago. Channel 5 in Nashville has reported that the Tennessee dept. of safety and Homeland Security stated the following: "The number one priority for our department is to ensure the public’s safety. Mr. Yeager’s comments were irresponsible, dangerous, and deserved our immediate attention. Due to our concern, as well as that of law enforcement, his handgun permit was suspended immediately."

Good, his handgun permit was suspended immediately. This idiot (yeager) should have never had a permit in the first place! Did anyone check his mental health assessent? He definitely would and should have not passed! What a moron this bastard yeager is?

All of it stems from this BLACK President being elected and re-elected, if the truth be told. When will "they" get over it? If the answer is NEVER, that is fine too. LOCK all of the racist bastards up and throw away the key. Good riddance!
