John Kerry’s committee announces hearing on John Kerry’s nomination as secretary of state

The press office of Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on Wednesday announced a hearing on the nomination of Sen. John F. Kerry as secretary of state.
Kerry, a news release said, will be introduced to the committee on Thursday by Hillary Rodham Clinton, the current secretary; committee member Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.); and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, his fellow Massachusetts Democrat.
Whether such a closed and complementary circle will engender tough foreign policy questions remains to be seen.
Kerry has been a generally well-liked chairman, but many of the panel’s members are less than pleased with aspects of President Obama’s foreign policy. Even Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) — who was reminded last week by Kerry’s staff that he does not yet “chair” the panel, which he will take over, but will merely “preside” over the confirmation hearing — has his differences with Obama over issues as diverse as Cuba and Iran.

... is all day today I kept hearing that today would be the last day that Hillary would be going to the hill as Secretary of State - and now we find out that she will be back there in the morning! LOL.
I betcha that after the long day she had today she probably would rather have a day off tomorrow
