FBI raids Capitol office of state Sen. Ron Calderon

FBI agents raided the office of state Sen. Ron Calderon (D-Montebello) and at least one other location in the state Capitol on Tuesday to gather evidence for an investigation, law enforcement officials said.

“FBI agents are executing a search warrant at the Capitol building,” said Laura Eimiller, an FBI spokeswoman.

She said all information related to the nature of the search was sealed and the agency could not discuss it. “The affidavit in support is under seal and we are prohibited from commenting,” she said.

Sources with knowledge of the probe said the search of Calderon's office is part of a wider public corruption investigation in Los Angeles County.

So this guy is being investigated for criminal behavior. He must of got bought by the wrong owners, huh? There's no question that almost all of the federal senators and congresscritters have been working for someone other than the US people.
Everyone is just so freaked-out over admitting the truth of what this means; the moral position of the American political class inhabits a low point we've never seen before. When a country's electorate cant even agree on basic facts of reality, it has already lost the struggle to attain the dream of being an active, thriving democracy, We all have ring-side seats to the destruction of this great experiment in representitive democray. It took acts of bravery and selfless-ness to ignite the revolution- it has with-stood a civil war, the industrial revolution and two world wars- to be destroyed by 30 years of attacks on truth from within.
We all know our "representitives" are working for someone other than us. The question we ought to be asking in this instance is why should we manufacture outrage over what we all accept as a normative outcome that will always remain a constant? The state of the union is horrible, and the predators and carion birds they attract are taking all of what's left.
I'm so worried about what we are leaving to our children to solve.
