Armed police fired stun grenades to disperse the crowd of several hundred protesters, who had gathered outside the Soweto campus of the University of Johannesburg, where Obama was due to address a town hall meeting with students.

I'd seen a general note that it was against US overseas policy but couldn't find a decent link. I have a feeling they consider the US to be Animal Farm - as do many others outside of the US.

The rest of the world does not live inside our cozy, corporate-media bubble. It's really sad how Mr Obama has managed to use up the fund of goodwill that he had when he started his administration.
