Texas abortion ruling draws protest at Houston Planned Parenthood

Source: Houston Chronicle

As the morning rain stopped, about 35 anti-abortion protesters converged Wednesday at a south Houston Planned Parenthood.

Two Planned Parenthood volunteers stood at the parking entrance but no police were visible at the location in the 4600 block of the Gulf Freeway.

Speakers included state Rep. Steve Toth, R-The Woodlands, who said the Planned Parenthood building is "a shameful monument to a multimillion dollar (abortion) business."

The event was to protest U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel's Oct. 28 ruling that a provision to require abortion providers to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals is unconstitutional.

"If you're pre-born, you're fine. If you're pre-school, you're ****ed!"

Seriously. Ask these protesters, when was the last time you ever did something to help poor kids? They'll just yell at you.

Righties always treat Planned Parenthood like it's some sort of shadowy super free abortion center. Even though Planned Parenthood does much more than abortion, even though the public disagrees with restrictions on abortion, and yes, even though it was a district court that was behind this decision, and not Planned Parenhood, they are sure they were responsible for this and they're not going to listen to any liberal biased thing that tells them otherwise.

as possible for being "sluts" and "whores" on their way into a women's health clinic, duh.

I mean, what's the point of waving a dead fetus picture around if you're not going to scream at a pregnant rape victim that she's a baby-killer?

Adopting an anti-business stand here seems like the height of hypocrisy.
