'Cinderella' fugitive from Colorado caught in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — U.S. Marshals arrested a fugitive man south of San Antonio on Tuesday, about two years after he left a shoe behind while trying to invade a Colorado home.
Members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force had been trying since Dec. 30 to find and capture Mario Andreas Godinez, 20, according to a news release.
Godinez and two others are accused of being involved in a 2012 attempted home invasion in Greeley, Colo., according to marshals. When Godinez and the others could not get into the home, Godinez is accused of firing bullets through the front door, with people inside, according to marshals.
Godinez and the others escaped in a car, but Godinez left one of his shoes behind, according to marshals.
