Skylar Murphy didn't plan to use pipe bomb on plane, RCMP say
Source: CBC News
The RCMP believed an Edmonton-area teens story that he had no plans to blow up a plane with a pipe bomb he said he unintentionally carried through airport security, because he had a shocked reaction when security screeners found the device, according to court transcripts obtained by CBC News.
The RCMP based this belief on surveillance video from the encounter at Edmonton International Airport on Sept. 20 between then 18-year-old Skylar Murphy and security personnel.

(53,661 posts)It's still bullshit to let people carry a pipe with a fuse and gunpowder in it and claim he 'just forgot' about it in his bag at the airport.
Playing clueless and the officers playing along with it. Not many would have gotten away with this.
