Ukrainian Navy flagship takes Russia’s side – report
Source: RT
Ukraines Navy flagship, the Hetman Sahaidachny frigate, has reportedly refused to follow orders from Kiev, and come over to Russias side and is returning home after taking part in NATO operation in the Gulf of Aden flying the Russian naval flag.
There has been conflicting information on where exactly the vessel is, but a Russian senator has confirmed to Izvestia daily that the frigate defected to the Russian side.
Ukraines Navy flagship the Hetman Sahaidachny has come over to our side today. It has hung out the St Andrews flag, Senator Igor Morozov, a member of the committee on the international affairs, told Izvestia daily.
He said the flagship is on its way back to the Black Sea after drills in the Mediterranean. The crew has fulfilled the order by the chief commander of Ukraines armed forces Viktor Yanukovich, he added.

(44,972 posts)I used google translate and it's very clear. By the way the article is not in Ukranian. It's in Russian. Which is why your translation came up all funky.
"In the Ukrainian government received information that after the resignation of Chief of Staff Admiral Ukraine Yuri Ilyin ship decided not to obey the new Ukrainian authorities and returned to the Black Sea under the flag of St. Andrew . As planned , the ship is expected to arrive in Sevastopol in early March."

(44,972 posts)It says the same thing. The ship is refusing to obey orders from Ukraine and is under flag of St. Andrew.
The flag of St. Andrew was reintroduced in the Russian Navy in 1992, and is still used today.

I can't vouch for this source, but here is an interesting tidbit related to this thread:

Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has denied the information of some Russian media on the Hetman Sahaidachny frigate siding with Russia. According to the Ministrys statement, the Ukrainian Frigate Hetman Sahaydachny with Ka-27 helicopter and special team on board has completed its deploying within the Ocean Shield and the EU Atalanta operations in the Gulf of Aden and now it is docked in Greece for replenishment.
Rear Admiral Andriy Tarasov, Commander of National Contingent, informed the frigate would head home to Ukraine, soon.
Ukrainian servicemen serve for the Ukrainian people and sail under the Ukrainian flag, he underlined.
Rear Admiral Andriy Tarasov mentioned the leaders of national contingent communicate constantly with the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
