Holder: No banks 'too big to jail'

Source: Politico.com

Attorney General Eric Holder declared Monday that no banks are too big to be prosecuted if they engage in criminal activity, while another law enforcement official said a pair of cases against major banks may culminate in guilty pleas in the near future.

"There is no such thing as 'too big to jail," Holder declared in a weekly video message. "No individual or company, no matter how large or how profitable, is above the law."

If the banks had spent all this time fucking over the rich and powerful to the extent they've fucked over the middle class and poor, he'd have them all in prison by now. He's not fooling anyone.

If they don't prosecute they know they'll lose big next time and they don't want to be out of power ....

We'll see ... There isn't a single corporation in this country that isn't set up to replace any and all CEOs ... they're all expendable ...

- He was for it after he was against it.

"I am concerned that the size of some of these institutions becomes so large that it does become difficult for us to prosecute them when we are hit with indications that if you do prosecute, if you do bring a criminal charge, it will have a negative impact on the national economy, perhaps even the world economy. And I think that is a function of the fact that some of these institutions have become too large." Eric Holder, The Hill

Given Mr. Holder's inaction over the last six years, his words ring hollow.
