CNN refuses to cover benghazi

Source: Politicus

What Zucker was saying is that if Benghazi were to become a legitimate news story, CNN would cover it, but right now, Benghazi isn’t newsworthy, so no matter how much Fox News screams at the top of their lungs, CNN won’t be covering the story.

Most of the media isn’t playing along with the Republican attempts to manipulate them into covering Benghazi. Through seven previous investigations, Republicans have found no evidence of wrongdoing by the White House. Benghazi is the ultimate non-story. Viewers outside of hard core Republicans aren’t interested.

House Republicans can’t even explain what the “crime” is. For the first time in years, the mainstream media is telling Republicans no. The mainstream media has been enabling Republican insanity for years, by treating their conspiracies and crackpot theories as if they are legitimate news. The media isn’t playing along anymore.

associate the word "scandal" with Benghazi.

Call them on it when you hear them using those two words together.

Our local Fox news station ran a piece, with "Benghazi" and "scandal" connected.
That's lazy and biased.

..benghazied..
verb: to benghazi
def: when a man or woman has been hounded unmercifully for an extended period of time about a situation that is not based on fact.

ex: John was benghazied about spitting on a rival player during a basketball game.
ex: Marco Rubio was benghazied over claims by a bottled water company that he caused them to go out of business.

Sorry to say, but Democrats should take Obama's lead and try not to appear on Fox News unless it is absolutely necessary.

It seems to me to be rather self-serving to appear on Fox. I just don't trust people who claim to be Democrats and submit themselves to the punishment they get on Fox News.

Fox News is just using them s a dartboard. Dartboard Democrats. That is what I would call Democrats who go on Fox News. It does not speak well for their intelligence. Why would anyone allow themselves to be interrupted and disrespected in the way that Fox treats Democrats.

I remember serving jury duty a decade ago & some a-hole male kept interrupting me. Finally lost my temper & told him to be quiet until I was finished speaking. The deputy poked his head in & asked if everything was alright. Got kinda loud. Wish the dem's would do that on news programs.

Imagine the great financial position the VA would have been in, if not for the two wars Cheney/W started? The veterans from prior wars could have been taken care of properly, almost as well as millionaire Bob Dole was. He spent 6 MONTHS in a vet hospital. I know he is a vet, but surely he could afford to go to a civilian hospital, he does still have taxpayer funded insurance, right?

One of these "news" organizations should borrow the clock that was in Times Square, documenting the National Debt. They could show how much taxpayer money has been wasted so far on this fiasco, plus a daily count of how much more is being spent, while the gop fund raises off it.

It's better that CNN spend it's valuable time making sure we understand what nasal strips for horses are, that McDonalds has a new scary happy meal mascot, and Pat Sajak has an idiotic global warming tweet, than actually covering a political witch hunt and showing it for exactly what it is.

While I agree that there is no more Benghazi story left to cover, I haven't turned to CNN (domestic) for any relevant, rational and informative news coverage in years. As I recall when they jumped the shark, they still covered weather reports pretty well, but there was already a channel devoted to that. I think it will eventually be sold to the Kardashian Empire and rebranded KNN.

But, when the Republicans are caught with their deliberate maudlin theatrics and shenanigans with other things, the Democrats and the media don't come by and nail the coffin shut. All they do is play possum and that's it.

"Oh, the Republicans will screw up and it'll go away." is the logic.

Sorry, but all that does is enable them to continue moving from one bullshit circus to the next - unchecked, unfettered and completely enabled.
